I dropped one of my diamond bands that I wear on either side of my engagement ring on a hardwood floor and it rolled and went into a second floor air vent. The vent was at an outside wall so it went straight down about 8 inches then turned and ran underneath the flloor and above the finished ceiling on the first floor. My guy tried to get it out with a vacuum cleaner, needless to say it did not work because we couldn't see it. I then called an air and heating guy and he said they would probably have to tear the ceiling out downstairs and cut into the air vent to get it out. Which I thought was Overkill! LOL. Then I remembered this kind of tool that plumbers use so I researched it and chose this particular one. It was so easy you just scanned a QR code and it pulled up an app which installed instantly. You didn't have to link your phone to it, just plug it in. And you're ready to go. Not much instructions but I did look it up online under their manual. My guy worked about 10 minutes to adapt to this device and probably took him about another 15 minutes to locate the ring and use the hook that I had already applied to the light and pulled it out. This product is well worth the money.

It works well just sitting at my desk trying it out. Great picture and we turn the lights off and it had a good image. I will be trying it out in a wall today and see just how good it works.

This was an invaluable part on a recent camera systems install. Used primarily attached to an extension rod for finding soffit locations to route piping and Ethernet wire for a home security system. It has survived transport in my suitcase traveling to another state, and a few construction type projects sunce. App worked with everything connected to an iPhone 14 before activating the app and the light was useful. Used the protective end cover and this thing took a beating and still worked. Shoved through several pvc pipes and lense stayed viable. Would buy this again.

this is the second one of these pieces of junk I bought. they work for about ten minutes. the connectors break and they wont connect. I'm so sick of this Chinese junk flooding our country. Amazon should be ashamed. America should be ashamed!

Not the highest quality but it saved me from having to pull the toilet out to figure out what was clogging it up. Someone had flushed down the little plastic piece that the toilet deodorizer hangs on and it was hung deep in the bowls of the toilet. I was able to use the camera to see what it was and utilize another little grabber tool to remove it. Worked great with my IPhone.
