Great little lock box to keep your small goodies tucked away from prying eyes! Any small articles or medications or such you want people to keep their eyes off can go right in here. Small enough to pop into a work tote or gym back, or tuck away in a hidden location at the house or in the car. It could be defeated with brute force, but it serves my purpose great.

The locking mechanism on the inside gets caught in things in the box because it’s not covered at all, the hook that licks the box just catches on things or you can’t lock it if something is against the front wall inside in the way of where the hook wants to move. I wish that had been covered since the point of it being small is to be portable. Things move around in there, getting caught easily. It’s annoying. But otherwise love the size, very cute, wish there was a combination one!

Looks great and has help up really well...still in use after 5 years! This has been a solid buy and has held up nicely. Still in use after 5 years and have no issues at all.

You definitely get what you pay for with this item, so sadly it’s not as much of a deal as I’d hoped. It feels sturdy because it has good weight to it but the metal is actually very thin. I worry that it would be easy for anyone with the right equipment to tear into.Assuming the metal casing holds up, the lock itself seems good. Usually I’m able to pick most cheap key locks (I’m not up to any funny business, I swear! I just played too much Skyrim as a kid), but I haven’t been able to pick this one yet. Very pleased about that. The keys look really generic though, so I bet anyone with one of these boxes can open anyone else’s box too. Which isn’t very secure.I’d hoped to use the plastic tray it comes with to store small jewelry items in the lockbox but the tray isn’t actually as wide as the box lengthwise (it’s actually a tight squeeze from front to back though, which seems odd) so it doesn’t stay level like it is in the listing picture. One side always rests on the bottom of the lockbox so anything you put in the tray may or may not be in the section you left it next time you open the box. You can see in my pics that I’d have to hold the tray in place for it to stay level.All in all, it’s a cheap lockbox at a cheap price so if you don’t need a high quality one that’s really secure, then this one should be fine. For a student on a budget, it’s pretty decent.
