Well made. It works great. Price is fantastic. Easy to assemble and disassemble. I like that it stores in a small amount of space compared to my umbrella swift. Because it doesn’t need to be clamped to an edge of a table I can use it for hand winding yarn while sitting in my living room chair. Arrived promptly and was well packaged for shipping. Highly recommend.

This device works well for keeping skeins of yarn from tangling up while winding them into cakes. I will say that it was a bit wobbly at first, but a quick twist with a screwdriver and wrench solved that issue. The dowels are a bit snug, but pushing them in and out of the holes a couple of times made it easier. I did not have an issue with it snagging my yarn, and I was using very fine merino wool/silk blend. It spun smoothly. Overall, a bargain and a good product.

This is a very nice yarn swift! It spins easily and adjusts from large to small. Very helpful when winding my hand spun skeins into center pull balls! Highly recommend. Wood is untreated so you can customize the swift to your unique personality.

Center hole is incorrectly drilled. The swift sits crooked and won't turn.
