I am very pleased with the performance of this jumper pack. I jumped a 110 hp tractor with it. It's a handy tool.

The cables are pretty long and surprisingly very flexible definitely for the price it's great and I always have charge batteries. The Makita batteries have their own built-in voltage and amperage protection so it's mostly safe definitely not manufacturer recommended but if you're buying something like this you probably already know that.

I have Makita 18V batteries for my Makita tools.I read the review and totally understand other people concern about certification of this device.I just got it as the fact I might need it someday for jump start another car or my car as I always have my tools and bateries in my car.Hopefully I do not have to use it, but handy to have

First of all, these cables are surprisingly heavier than I thought they'd be, given how compact they are.And that certainly instills confidence, even if this whole concept is a tad hinky. There are no safety assurances other than your own common sense and some pretty clear warnings in the directions. Caveat emptor ref how this set up affect delicate electronics in high-end cars. But hey, it does create a spark upon testing so the moment my 1000-year-old jeep battery conks out, I'm going to chance it. Meanwhile I'm reviewing concept and build only ... and I'm impressed. Will update if this thing kills me .... oh, wait ....

This is great to have on the truck for unplanned emergencies. Lots of tools and batteries on the job site - but being able to jump your car with one is clever, for sure.Depending on your vehicle, and it's battery size, you will need to figure out how long to leave it connected. Just like jumping from another 12v donor car battery. If you have tools in your truck, and are on the Makita platform, this is a no brainer. Get it and keep it on you.
