Bought these to replace my ancient set of cables that were deteriorating. I haven’t used them yet, but they are close at hand for when needed. I love the heavy duty feel and the length of the cables. They store well in the bag provided. Great value for a necessary automotive accessory.

I really like the voltage readout to see what the discharged battery is reading before I connect a bettery to the other end. The cables are very stiff when cold, so I keep them in the warm truck. Excellent deal for 20' 2 gauge cables no matter where they come from. Very pleased. My only gripe is the stiff sheathing in the cold, but I wouldn't pass these up.

I always was told from a young man that everyone male or female should always keep jumper cables on his or her car regardless of battery ahe, car age, etc. You never know when you are stuck could live in cold or hot and a jump start may save your day depending on problem(s) I have not used this at time of review however, I examined them and they are made of thick wore which you need to buy at least 4-Gauge wire minimum. The thicknesses of the wire will properly and saftley bring the power from the vehicle jump starting you to yours or vs. versus. The handles have a strong handles and the part the clips onto battery 🔋 has a very nice clip. Like I said I have not used these yet but I have used similar handles in past they worked great. This voltage meter on cable is new to me. This is a bonus to assure you are getting the proper volts to your vehicle or the vehicle you're jump starting. Highly recommend. Prompt shipping as well. Reminder I had a jumper pack that went from old age it was big but work. Always remember they have batteries and I have heard even the best do not work many times a set of jumper cables is cost effective and definitely should be in every single vehicle. They should come with vehicle or as option at the least. For.the proce they should add then to vehicles in my opinion from the vehicle factory upon making of vehicle. Then everyone would know red goes to positive and black goes to negative or solid metal.on car is usually better than on battery. Always make sure your cables are connected properly to avoid damage to both vehicles being used. Above is my honest opinion and recommendation having spent decades in the automobile/trucking industry.

I purchased the 6 Guage Cables. Read some horror story reviews about thinner wire melting insulation. Was about to buy a Jumper Box but found out they probably won't work on 100% dead batteries. These Cables are different from any others I've used before. One side goes to dead battery. There is a safety box letting you know that your connection is correct and it suppresses any current surges. Clamps are VERY strong. The tip clamp grabbed my side post terminal tight!! I jumped my car with a completely dead battery from a good charged battery (no car). It cranked right away and started in about 6 seconds. Not a bit of heat on Cables.Comes with big storage bag that is plenty big for the 16ft Cables and a pair of gloves. Fantastic price and delivered in one day!! These are excellent Jumper Cables that I highly recommend.

I bought these to fill my truck's safety kit. Solidly made product (both wire gauge and terminal clamps).Within a week of receiving them, my sister's car battery died and she needed her car jumped. It was facing nose first in her single car garage, so the battery was far away from the garage door. These cables were long enough to reach from my battery to her's without having to push her car out of the garage. I can definitely see how this extra length would also be needed if you were broken down roadside and a help vehicle pulled in behind your car. Highly recommended.

Tengo una camioneta doble cabina y pasé corriente a un sedán que estaba en una posición que no podÃa acercar mucho mi camioneta. El largo del cable fue clave para alcanzar la baterÃa sin necesidad de mover el automóvil.Unos cuantos segundos conectados y encendió sin problemas. Además el cable cuenta con un checador que avisa si hay algún problema en la conexión y asà es menos probable dañar las computadoras de los vehÃculos.

Son cables funcionales, faciles de maniobrar y guardar, las pinzas son fuertes pero serÃan mejor con pintura y/o cubierta reforzada para evitar se desprenda
