I purchased these strings for practicing scales and exercises on my practice guitar. They have held up unbelievably well under the endless hours of exercises, and finger perspiration acids. The sound quality, though moderate, lasted about one month, but I must make it clear that I did not buy these for quality sound purposes. I have other strings that are expensive and produce excellent sound; which cost a lot more! However, they do not hold up for very long and, as I said, they are quite expensive. I recommend buying these for the purposes stated above. You will NOT regret it!

I'm restoring a very old parlor guitar that was built for gut strings. Since those are hard to come by, these plastic strings are a reasonable substitute. As my headline says, 'good enough for my purposes.'

I use these strings just before I sell a guitar, these are cheap and sound OK. I would never keep these for me.
