Wow. Who knew that ice skates could be comfortable?? I love skating lakes and ponds, but my toes get cold easily, and I've always found hockey and figure skates to be so uncomfortable. Enter these, and I'm so thankful I found them! The sizing is accurate. I typically wear a size 9 running shoe in New Balance, and a 9 in these fits perfectly. I'm not sure why some reviews mentioned these to be difficult to get on. The lacing system is incredibly smooth and easy to use. They also tighten really well with the ski boot style buckle at the top. I skated over 10 miles outdoor on the pond in sub 30 degree weather, and I could have kept going. My toes were warm, and my feet were comfortable throughout.As other reviewers have mentioned, these do arrive somewhat sharp, so it won't prevent you from hitting the ice right away. But you will still want to get them professionally sharpened. The difference in the grip on the ice after I sharpened them was incredible.Being able to continue enjoying the outdoors while there's minimal snow, but plenty of ice, has been such a joy. Thanks K2 for making a great product!

Great pair of skates at a low price! Same brand as my inline skates and just as fun! They came nicely sharpened even though some other reviewers felt otherwise. They are very comfortable while wearing!

Skates are very comfortable.They are a little hard to get your feet in. They are hard to tighten the laces. The top buckle is really hard to tighten. Maybe after some use they will be easier. Only skated once in these skates and my feet and legs didn't get sore. Just starting to skate again, but they are far more comfortable than the skates I was using. Had to order a 1/2 size bigger than I wanted, that is the only size they had. They are a little big, but will work.

Just got into Ice Skating this past winter, and these are so comfortable! I'm still super new, but they're easy to get on and off, don't kill my feet, and the sharpening seems to hold up well.

I'm a size 8.5 (8 in sandals) and ordered a size 9 to make sure I had space for thick socks. It took me over 15 minutes to manage to get my hand inside to remove the paper that fills it (I almost gave up and returned them!) Putting them on wasn't any easier. I think they're meant to be used with thin socks because they're so cushiony. The lacing system is useless as there's no way to adjust it, so if your feet don't fit the opening, you won't manage to get them in at all. Consider ordering at least one size up. If your feet are anything but slender, forget about it. On a side note, removing them is easier thanks to the two loops meant to pull on. Small saving grace, and the only reason I'm keeping them. Let's see how they perform...

Heute getestet und mega zufrieden..normalerweise kriege ich bei neuen Schuhen jeglicher Art immer Wasserblasen - aber erstaunlicherweise hatte ich keine Probleme und konnte 1,5 Stunden fahren ohne dass mir die Füße weh getan hätten.
