This is easy to use and the cutout in the clip for a laptop camera is a very nice touch. Compared to another ring light that I have, this one somehow lights my face better even on a dimmer setting, which is ideal for avoiding eye strain from too bright light.

Set up was easy and it worked fine for the first 45 minute virtual meeting. It was off when I was not in meetings but there is a blue light on the switch that remains on. For my second meeting, I turned it on but it turned itself off after about 5 min. I turned it back on but it turned right back off maybe 30 seconds later so I left it off. After the meeting, I tried it again and it turned itself off after maybe 5 min again. Obviously this will not work. Meetings are more than 5 min long. I turned it on and off twice and now it won’t work at all. Blue light is off, I tried unplugging from the adapter, unplugging from the surge protector, plugging directly into the wall, plugging into another outlet, trying another adapter…I’m giving up. And this is a case where it’s not worth returning so I’m just going to mark this up to life experience and buy a more legit light at an actual store.

I had been really happy with the light for about a year, but it suddenly started malfunctioning. At first it wouldn't stay on but unplugging it fixed it. Then the controller stopped receiving power (I assume since the blue indicator wasn't lit up anymore). Now the light doesn't turn on at all, but the blue indicator light is back on. Disappointing that more plastic will end up in the landfill after only a year.

Living my everyday life on Zoom. My laptop camera gives me a pink skintone and I can not figure out why. I invested in a ring light. This one has a dimmer, and 3 modes (warm, cold and in between lighting). This has helped me and is no an everyday item next to my pc. It was worth my money.

I use it when I live stream, which is rare. After 4 months, the light randomly started flickering when I didn’t even turn it on. I wasn’t able to turn it off either, so I just had to unplug it. The return window closed so I’m pretty upset. When it USED to work, it was great though. It was bright and I liked the three light modes. But what’s the point if it stops working after light usage? Really hope I could get some support with this.
