The cooktop is exactly what we wanted. Our large cooktop was original to our home and finally went out. This is what we need to have something to use until we find the cooktop we want. It is also 115V and can be used when we have a power outage and the generator comes on. It came very quickly and works well! The price was very good too!

This is a pretty good and intuitive burner plate.Pros: looks good, heavy grade, nice finish, one panel heats quite well for larger pots, the other heats slowly good for a small pot or a simmer. Can use on non induction pansCons. Scratches or staims relatively easily. Probably benfit with a electric plate glass cleaner fluid. A little heavy if you have a small kitchen, picking up and putting away after meals is tedius, best remains on the counter. Its generally a good product for the price and I cant comment on longivity but so far it does what it was purchased for, and everything that came in the package along with quality matches what was advertisedThe plug in was convinient. I woulf recommend anyone using both burners be warmed this does take more than 15AMP with a 120v, so breakers with 15Amp sockets Should NOT be used.

I removed my induction cooktop to install this non-induction type cooktop. I'm not a fan of induction cooktops as the ones I've owned shut off if you lift the pot for a short time like to drain fat, stir, serve partial, etc. Then you need to go through the process of turning back on, which for some involves a few settings. This is not induction and stays on until you shut it off. Therefore this cooktop is not recommended for a person who needs assistance for safety reasons as it does not shut off itself. But i like this style cooktop due to its simplicity. Also the controls on this unit are very simple. Turn to desired setting and that's it. One simple move. Turn know right for on and left for off.

Nice table top unit with two burners. Needs 14 gauge wire with a 15 amp breaker. Can be installed as a drop in or you can screw in the four rubber feet. Perfect for a small apartment.

This 2-burners electric cooktop is quite good. The knob control is precise, it heats up fast and it is easy to wipe clean. One standout feature is the 9 heating levels, providing versatility for various cooking needs, but keep in mind that with the 2-burners model you can only really cook with one burner. The second smallest burner works but much less powerfully - you can use it to simmer water/milk or keep food warm but it takes forever to cook with it. So one burner is very powerful and the second one is very mild.Installation was straightforward and it looks very sleek and modern. The hot warning function is also a helpful addition, ensuring safety in the kitchen.Overall, I think this can work really well for someone who cooks simple meals - for example someone who cooks one dish only per meal instead of several currys and sauces and sides for the same meal. And it could also work very well for people who cook in a trailer or go camping as it is portable and doesn't require much setup.

This portable plug-in stove is good for small spaces and table cooking. There are two burners, but truly, the surface space is so small, that I can really only use one burner at any given time. The two burners are too close together for me to place two pots or pans on there at the same time and cook comfortably…So I haven’t even tried. It would be too awkward. But I’m fine with using only one pot or pan at once. This unit is to be installed into a countertop…or you have the option of using it on top of your counter or table. (The instructions and included literature is confusing, though, so at first, I wasn’t sure if it was okay to use this without installing it permanently into your counter). I use it the latter way (i.e., on top of my surface), and like to use it while I’m in front of the tv in my living room…For table-cooking on my coffee table. It’s fun to leisurely cook (hot pot is fun) and eat while in my living room…I just wish the sides of the unit were finished in a way that it would look aesthetically pleasing on top of your counter or table. It doesn’t really look the greatest, though. It looks incomplete and like you’re not using it for the right purpose. It looks like you HAVE to install it permanently into a countertop. If I were to choose again, I’d get the version with the buttons instead of the dial turner as it would be easier to wipe down. However, the dial turner has its benefits, particularly if you’re someone who needs to hear the audible clicks or just find it easier to turn a dial as opposed to pressing down on a button. In terms of operation, one thing to note is that this unit is not totally soundless. There’s a slight clicking and hum off-and-on at certain times when the burner is warming up again.Other than that, though, the burner seems to work well enough and wipes down well enough.I had problems installing the included “feetâ€, though. First, there were no clear instructions on what the parts were and how to install them…So I had to guess at which holes to screw them into. And then when I tried to screw them in, they wouldn’t go in easily, making me doubt whether or not I was supposed to screw them in or whether I was even screwing them into the correct holes. In the end, whether it was using the manual included screwdriver or my electric screwdriver, I couldn’t get the feet to screw in all the way…or even that deeply…It started stripping the screws and the metal of the cheap included screwdriver when I tried to force the screws in…And when I tried to use my electric screwdriver, there was too much resistance against the screws to get them to screw in. I ended up giving up after a long time trying. You can see in my photos how far I was able to get them in…Not far or deep, at all. This makes me nervous. I had to deduct points for this. It doesn’t give me confidence.Otherwise, though, this is a decent and useful tabletop burner that I enjoy using for table cooking.
