Okay.. Dislikes.. My own fault as I should have done more research before my purchase.. However,, it's a nicely made piece and it does it's job as it should. I will be purchasing a couple of smaller ones for my smaller pots/pans.. It works great with gas stoves or open flame source and the handle is an extra benefit when wanting to move your pan and still maintain some of the heat for a bit, or just as an aid to move it to another place.. Using it with electric/induction, the main reason that I bought this type of product. It was to be able to use my nonmagnet pans. It works, but you have to run higher temps and it still takes a long time to get everything up to Temp, But once up to temp your good to go and it works just fine.. On the gas source I love the way that it evens out the heat on my cooking surface. I don't have cold/hot spots.

Nice plate and worked well on a portable induction hob in that it heated up quickly with an aluminum pot of water on top. Didn’t end up keeping it though as the aluminum cookware we had was cheap and not completely flat on the bottom. This prevented the plate from having full contact. I wasn’t comfortable using this unless the pot had full contact, so I returned the plate after one initial try (and I made sure the plate was clean and like new when returned!).

I used the Activation Cuisine Heat Diversion Plate twice, and after the second use, it started popping and creaking. Shortly after, it completely split apart. The entire unit warped and is now completely unusable. For a product designed to handle heat, I expected much better durability. Definitely not worth the money.

This allows use of non-ferrous pots/pans on an induction hot plate. Heat transfer is slower than with induction compliant pans, so this works better when low heat is tolerable.

Our induction cook top, which came with the house, only has one size for the four 'burners' - large. Smaller sauce or omelette pans aren't big enough to trigger the sensors, and then unit throws an error that there's no pan on the burner. Using metal spacers with this diffuser plate works well enough to trick the cook top into thinking the smaller pan is big enough. Pans don't heat up as fast as being in direct contact, but they heat up fast enough for convenient cooking. This is helpful so we can still use smaller pots and pans as needed - until we can replace the cook top with one which has multi-sized burners. One caveat - these do start to delaminate and warp in the magnetic field, and we usually replace them every six months.

The only thing I don't like about this is the raised area for the handle attachment. It makes it impossible to use anything bigger than the diameter of the plate.I think I'll probably take it out to my vise and flatten it.

I don't see a reason for the handle to be removable. It seems a bit unstable. It seemed to work at first, but now won't boil water. very slow to heat up and doesn't reach full temperature. It seems to only work with certain pots. It seems to work OK with the tea kettle (maybe it has some iron in it?), but with some pots, the food barely gets hot no matter how high the setting on the range. As I do more research, I've found that when this happens it is damaging the induction range. Too late to return it now, though.

Pour pouvoir utiliser mes casseroles sur ma nouvelle cuisinière à induction et le résultat est fantastique. Je le recommande vraiment.
