Hard to tell the difference to OEM. Fits nicely to tailgate. Installed a few months ago and has lasted well over the winder with using the bed frequently.

The F150's tailgate is capped with this moulding. If you are not careful when unloading something it tears it off. When I bought my used truck the moulding had been damaged and wouldn't stay on. This new one fixed the problem.

Bought a used truck from auction, and noticed the step cover was missing. Found this one which appeared to be well rated and added it to an order. The cover arrived well packaged and with all the needed parts!With respect to others' experience and broken tabs, I had none of those issues and I popped it on and off to check fit. A little lithium or other grease on your latch hardware while you can get to it will help out tremendously (pic one).One suggestion is to ensure the sides of the slip channels the button rides in are parallel, or you may end up with a button that doesn't come flush to the surface of the cover. I trimmed mine with an Xacto knife (see pic 2), lubed it, and checked travel several times before snapping the cover down.I carefully pried out the plastic retainer pins on either side of the latch bolts (see pic 3) and used the new pins provided. Tip: use a screwdriver or wood block to keep the step lifted while you work with the tailgate latched up.The "No Step" end caps are included but I didn't use them this pass. Maybe later.Great product, clean look, weak instructions (but it's easy).

I bought 3 from this brand because it was highly rated but each one had at least 2 broken clips. The third one had 2 partially broken clips that I was able to super glue but when I installed it I noticed the push button would get stuck and I had to push it back from the other side. Cheap design. I went with the other brand that starts with the letter “iâ€. You won’t regret it

I couldn’t be happier with the fit and look. Exactly the same as the OEM minus the quality of the plastic. If you are aware of the potential to break the clips if you aren’t careful and take your time, the lower quality of the plastic is a non issue. Instructions would be nice but it’s not hard to figure out. The button piece was hidden in one of the side pieces that are included. Actually a smart idea since there is the potential of breakage otherwise. The seller was also responsive to my questions. Highly recommend

Bought this item for my boys truck . Went on very easy with no problems . Works well like it’s supposed too.This tail gate comes with no instructions buts it’s very easy to put on .I saved a lot of money not going directly to a ford dear ship ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

First of all this is false advertising as the only piece that came in the box is one flimsy piece of junk… that’s it! None of the anchors or other bits and pieces that were in the description. The thing doesn’t even fit properly and is made out of complete garbage plastic. DO NOT BUY!
