Fits well and easy to install. That said, I'm not sure on durability. The tabs aren't super tight, so I could see it coming off if something dragged over the tailgate.

Tailgate cap. The second one I’ve bought. Both didn’t well first one came off while driving down road. The second one error clips broke off while installing it

Put it side by side and looks identical. Included new step pads for the outboard edges, but mine still looked ok so did not install those. I reinforced the leading edge with 3M foam double stick trim tape to hopefully be the last time I need to mess with it. I also sprayed the button release with Blaster Dry Lube to ease the operation of the part.

Plastic looks great. Super easy to install. Package came with new rivets and bottom pieces for the step but mine was only messed up on the top. Mine took less than 5 mins to install. Great tight fit and looks like oem. 2 months after plastic tabs started not staying locked in. Piece end up falling off while driving down the interstate. Head to dealer to get factory plastic cover now.

The replacement tailgate top moulding arrived earlier then expected. It was ease to install and fit well. I sprayed some WD 40 into the release button mechanism in the tailgate assembly which allowed the button to move freely. It looks and works just fine. Let’s see if any issues develop in the days, weeks, months to come. So far, I would buy it again.

Seems to be made of an inferior plastic - insertion tabs began to break within 6 months of installation on truck, all were broken within the following month, so had to remove (only the two push-rivets left to hold it loosely in position). My truck is used for personal / recreation purposes, so it does not take a beating - this product definitely did not meet expectations.

plastic is softer than original, tabs are weak and don't properly hold the tailgate cap in place.
