First off, I’m impressed with the pliers. They come with a hard case with a clip for your belt as well as an extendable cord to clip on your belt loop. This is helpful in the boat or on shore to make sure they don’t get misplaced. They have a very small ‘nose’ to help remove hooks from smaller fish. The line cutter is an added bonus.The line spooler is easy to use. It is so much better than using a pencil stuck through the spool to add line to my reels as I have done in the past.Overall I am very pleased!

I really like the pliers, hopefully they hold up well. I like the small pointy split ring tool at the tip, many pliers have a more rounded tip. The line cutter works well with braid, however, it is a little harder to get the line positioned to cut than pliers with the line cutter built in front of the pivot point.I have a line winding tool that I have to mount my reels to and then adjust the clamps that hold the spools, once it is set properly it does a good job but it's a pain in the rear. This spooler is much easier to use and much more compact, plus you get the other tools for the price I paid for my original spooler.I haven't had the chance to use the line remover tool yet but appears pretty straight forward, no more stripping by hand.All this comes in a small package for easier storage of the spooler and line removal tool.

Great little set. I locked the rod in a bench vice to hold it still, fitted the kit to the rod and filled two Penn Senator reels in less than half an hour. Paid for itself already.

I purchased the KastKing Radius KutR Fishing Line Spooler, Line Gobbler Line Stripper & 7" Cutthroat Pliers Combo. I felt like it was so Worth it. Everything you need to get started on your fishing trip. The product is great, I love the plier. it’s well made, And for all the stuff, not a bad price.

This is a really neat and interesting product. First I will say that I have bought a few other products form Kastking in the past, including a baitcasting reel, and they have all been great. They strike an excellent balance between cost and performance, and this bundle is no different. I'll start wit the line gobbler. Very simple design, just a cone shaped spool that you can chuck up in a drill. Works well. It will strip all the line off your reel in seconds and keep it in a neat wrap for proper disposal in a trash can, NOT ON THE SHORELINE. Next, the pliers. Very impressed with the quality and functionality. I have had other fishing pliers that were stamped from 1/16" sheet metal and they were garbage. Not these. These are actually made like a proper tool should be, and they are vastly superior to the others I mentioned. Love the functionality. I'm a musky angler so I'm changing out treble hooks frequently and the split ring tip on these pliers is a life saver. It's also nice to have a line cutter where both sides come together and actually cut the line. Pliers also have a carabiner on a coil cord for retention to your person, as well as a belt sheath. Both nice, but I just keep these in my tackle box. Now the main event, the line spooler. This thing is pretty cool. After a short learning curve, it's pretty quick and simple to use. For me, it took a minute to get the tension of the spool to the proper tension, but once I did it was pretty great. I used this on both my spinning reel as well as my aforementioned kastking baitcaster and it worked great on both. Is this nessicary gear? No, but it sure beats having your buddy put the spool on a pencil and keep tension with his thumb. Overall I am unsurprisingly impressed with yet another great batch of products from this company, and if your interested in this, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

I used to have to jimmy rig a contraption to put line on my reels with an additional person to help. I’m so happy Kastking made this. Makes the job a whole lot easier and convenient! The pliers are also super handy especially since it had a line cutter built in. Will be buying again!

I bought this mainly because i wanted a better way to spool up my reels and the pliers were a plus. Here is my final take on my experience using the spooler after spooling 7 reels ranging from 20lb spools to 65 pools on conventional, spinning, and conventional reel.Smaller(thinner) spools on relatively thin rods: The spooler works great it was easy to set up. If my entire review were based on this, I would've given it a 5-star.The poor experience came with spooling bigger spools, in my case a 1500 yds of 65lb braided line, onto a 9500-sized spinning reel using the bottom half of my 12-footer surf rod. What I noticed was that the rod clamp does not hold up well at its biggest size. As I reeled, the clamp came undone and I eventually gave up correcting it's position as it continuously failed to hold its position.Instead of a plastic lock for the clamp, I think if it were to use a better locking mechanism this item would be much more appreciated.

This is a great set. It’s actually a generous box of equipment that is well-made at a great price especially when you catch it on sale. The pliers are excellent and fit in the sheets. Nice and tightly the line stripper is an unexpected bonus. It’s well designed and durable don’t hesitate to get it every piece of it is just right and works well!
