My bird uses one of those triangular fuzzy birdhouses but I wanted to give him some variety. This little hammock filled the bill. Not only is it well made, but it is very cute! It is soft and fuzzy and even has little leaves and flowers that "crawl" up the chains, I presume so they don't look so bare. My bird is still suspiciously exploring it so I haven't really been able to judge how often he uses it, but he is definitely interested. My bird (green cheeked conure) is not exactly the fearless type like my last one who would be willing to take on the dogs, but I feel confident that once he "get to knows" this hammock he will take full advantage of it. It feels like a warm, soft blanket. I wish they came in my size!

The hooks attached to the bed should be metal and not plastic. My bird used it as a chewing toy

This is a really nice hammock. It looks warm and fuzzy. My parakeet hasn't sat in it yet, but I am sure he will soon. It has to be better than his food dish that he normally sits in LOL
