I like it and what it does for you and your kayak. If you have poor balance on your kayak it probably is not a good investment. But I like it and makes it easier to stand up on the lake. Easy to installation and good quality.

I like the durable handle and the thin nylon strap. I only have one suggestion that maybe it come with a carabiner or some way to secure it to your kayak other than running a loop in it and losing some of its length.

I have a sit on top kayak that is very sturdy, but at my age, it takes a lot out of me to try and balance and stand up at the same time unassisted. This strap has helped quite a lot. I still fall in the water from time to time, but at least l can stand up pretty easily now. Plus l use the strap when water levels are low on the river and l have to walk my kayak for short distances. Highly recommended.

I was using this strap to drag my 70lb 11ft kayak onto the beach from in the water and the strap snapped where the handle is stitched together. I had only used it about a dozen times and it has always been stored inside out of the sun.

l got this as a safety feature for my kayak but have used it for a carrying strap, and for tying my kayak to the shore. It’s really handy and strong to use. Glad I have it. I use a couple of carabiners with it to clip it on to the boat.

Just bought 4 of these for our Hobie kayaks. Have been using my dog's leash for assisting in standing up. I tried the Dokoshia strap and the plastic length-adjuster clip broke. I fell back in to the kayak seat support bar. Ouch.They need to recall these and put a tested/certified weight limit. I am 200 lbs.
