Your cart is empty.The KBWC Series are Wall Mount, AC Motor Fan Speed Controls packaged for resale if desired. They are designed for mounting into a 2" X 4" electrical wall box. They operate from 115/230/277VAC, 50/60 Hz and have a maximum rating from 2.5 - 15 Amps at ambient from 25° to 40ºC. They provide infinitely variable speed motor control for Shaded Pole, Permanent Split Capacitor and Universal (AC/DC) motors. The variable speed motor control contains an on/off line switch, a high gain RFI noise suppression filter, an adjustable trim pot to set the minimum speed and a flame retardant ABS enclosure. Applications include Ceiling Fans, Commercial Vent Hoods, Industrial Blowers, Laminar Flow Hoods, Heat Tunnels and Magnetic Stirrers.

This worked perfectly for my needs. The previous controller was two-wire (no ground), so I just grounded this one to the frame of the Thermador range hood in which I installed it. (Note: I had to cut off the ends of the mounting plate, at the screw holes, in order to fit it in the housing.)

I used this to control a variable speed whole house fan. The old one would not shut off, this new one was a direct replacement.

I'm using this controller to slow down a 3 amp .5 HP 120 volt PSC motor. It's running inline from the 120v Hot to the motor Primary. Do not run this controller to the motor secondary winding/capacitor. Unfortunately it won't lower the speed enough for what I'm looking for but that's my mistake not the controller's. I was aiming for closer to 20-30 RPM but the motor is rated at around 1100 rpm, not anywhere near slow enough for my needs.

Purchased for a fireplace that has two blowers. One on each side. Had purchased one thru local hardware store and did not work like original. Went ahead and ordered this one solely because actually depicts the adjustments via dial and switch plate. This switch worked exactly as needed and the amperage rating supports the two blower motors. Good buy too! Am very pleased with quality for cost. Thank you

I use this to control an iLiving - 16" Wall Mounted Exhaust Fan. I installed it in a 2-gang box along with a single pole double throw (spdt) (aka 3-way switch). Used the spdt switch to have the option of automatic or manual fan operation. Used a normal 2-gang switch cover plate and it fit fine. Works perfectly. Looks good too.
