The rubber strip looks like weatherstripping, but is super heavy duty. Simple install, it comes coiled, so let it sit in the sun to flatten it out. The cover ply on the provided 3M tape is a little hard to remove, unless you have sharp finger nails, ( like my wife)… but I had extra automotive tape that came in handy for make the curve along the bottom. It cuts down wind noise substantially than leaving the wires zip tied. I like it; and stayed attached at highway speeds.

This is a simple and clean way to run wires into the engine compartment, I’ve read where some have had issues with the 3m tape sticking , I used a heat gun after I applied it to the rubber I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and let it sit before I put the tape on

Pretty easy to install, but kinda pricy for rubber and double sided tape. Does the job for my antenna wire on my 4Runner. I used the extra piece on top of the car where part of the weather strip was because I didn’t want the wire to show where it was zipped tie to my roof rack.

This is pretty low tech but it makes for a clean install if you are trying to get wiring from your engine bay to the roof of your truck.

I recently used the KC HiLiTES 6300 Two-Light Switch Kit as a wire hider for my roof rack lights, and it works perfectly. Listen...I didn't want to drill a single hole in my roof or route wires to the back of my car and have them pinched between the trunk lid back door. This was way to easy to install. I used the entire length provided and evenly spaced the 3m adhesive tape the length of the cable hider. The key for good adhesion is cleaning your working area well. I used 91% alcohol to clean the area because the wipe they give you is only 71% and its so little it isn't worth your time. Clean until your you get a clean paper towel. Apply starting from the top working your way down removing the cover on the tape one at a time. Take your time and it will last. Great price, great buy and will be buying another for the other side just in case.

The supplied 3M Gray VHB tape does does not want to adhere to the underside of the KC HiLites Wire Hider. Cleaned the surface several times with alcohol with no luck. Tried a different 3M white VHB tape, still won't stick. Applied a 3M 90 spray adhesive to the wire hider and then the 3M VHB tape to that and still will not stick to the extruded rubber wire hider. Just about ready to give up on it. Concept is nice but in practice, a really poor product.

Une boite --SOMAIREMENT-- refermé. Un article coupé. Un bout de 17 pouces et un autre de 8 pouces (j'ai payé pour 36 pouces)Adhésif presque manquants et une parti déjà collé sur un bout de KC. Je suis conscient que la boite avait été acheté et retournée par une personne sans scrupule mais le reproche que je fait est que l'item aurait du être vérifié avant me le revendre. Si la boite n'avait été que brisée ou si il n'avait que manqué l'adhésif 3M j'aurai donné 5 étoiles, mais là c'était trop.
