There is a small amount of dust especially if you have a lot to erase. But minimal compared to regular chalk. The eraser works great and hardly any trace is left behind. Highly suggest for kids easel. The box they come in is filled with foam too so none were broken on shipping!

To begin with the positive: These are easy to use and they supply many different pretty colors. This is chalk; And it works like chalk will. I have not used them enough to recognize whether they produce the same or less amount of Chalk dust. They do erase from my small blackboard easily. I only give four stars because I save a five star rating for things that are unique and especially useful.

The chalk is super easy to clean off after writing. The chalk is thick enough to where it doesn’t break or crack. The colors write clearly and look vibrant. This is some durable chalk!! I would love to purchase it again in the future. I noticed that the color didn’t rub off on my hands or build up on the ledge of my chalkboard. Really great if you have kiddos or like to draw some fun art!!!

Chalk is chalk.It writes/scribbles without leaving a dusty trail everywhere. The comes in white and colored. The eraser works well but a bit large for small hands. The chalk is dustless but when dropped by the littles it shatters easily leaving little bits laying around. When walked on becomes dust.

I was very pleasantly surprised to receive my chalk all intact. Not a single broken piece. The chalk was nicely packed in a small bubble packing bag. And more importantly, each box of chalk contained a foam’ish fitted chalk holder that separated and individually supported each piece of chalk. Very nice!!After reading some negative reviews and seeing pictures of broken chalk pieces - I was skeptical and almost didn’t order, but I’m glad I did. It’s apparent that this company reads its reviews and listens to their customers. They now have great packaging for fragile chalk:)Furthermore, the chalk writes and erases beautifully on my magnetic ceramic chalkboard (Lottie Dottie). And it included an eraser that also works very well, especially if you follow it with a slightly damp cloth.

I didn't think this chalk would truly be dustless, but WOW! These babies work. I use a blackboard when I teach quite frequently and used to always keep a wet paper towel to wipe off the chalk dust. Not anymore! The chalk is great (although some of the colored chalk is hard to see on the board) and the eraser cleans the board SO well! I would definitely buy the white (and light colored chalk) again.

Pretty dustless and vibrant colors. But the package arrived with nearly all the chalk already broken. I know chalk breaks easily, but it was still disappointing that only two of the pieces of chalk (orange and yellow) survived making it to our door.
