About this item

  • PRO SERIES DUAL GAUGE REGULATOR: Easily measure PSI and Co2 volume and adjust Co2 output pressure using this Kegco 542 Pro Series Double Gauge Regulator packed with premium features! The top gauge indicates output pressure, while the side gauge tells you what's left in the Co2 tank, so you don't run out of gas during a party. The chrome plated brass body has a large pressure adjustment knob for easy use and includes a manual pressure release valve.
  • BALL LOCK KEG COUPLERS: This complete ball lock home brew keg tap set includes both a gas in and beer out coupler for easy tapping of ball lock Cornelius Pepsi kegs. The gas in comes with a 1/4" nut and 5/16" hose barb already attached, allowing you to quickly connect it to the same size air line that standard draft beer regulators use. The beer out connector has a 3/16" hose barb that connects to standard 3/16" beer line.
  • CHROME BEER FAUCET WITH BRASS LEVER: Featuring a forged brass body and highly polished chrome finish, this NSF-approved beer faucet puts a stylish finishing touch on your kegerator at a price you'll love. The brass shaft assembly and lever includes a non-stick ball washer for smooth operation, and the lever has standard threading that is compatible with most branded tap handles.
  • STANDARD METAL BEER FAUCET WRENCH: This beer faucet spanner wrench is an essential tool that allows you to quickly and confidently loosen or tighten shank collars without scratching your faucets. This wrench has been built to last with a rugged all-metal construction and a convenient 5-1/4" length.
  • INCLUDES EMPTY 5 LB. ALUMINUM CO2 TANK: All of our brand new tanks are made from high strength aluminum alloy which is not as heavy as a steel tank and will not rust. These eye-catching tanks have a glossy red coating that acts as an extra layer of protection against corrosion and wear.

Take the guesswork out of building your own kegerator with Kegco's Standard Homebrew Kegerator Conversion Kit, which includes everything you will need to successfully convert a refrigerator or freezer into a home brew beer dispenser. Made up of high quality commercial grade parts that have been designed and built to last, this kit includes convenient features like a dual gauge regulator for monitoring both output pressure and CO2 volume, ball lock couplers for use with Cornelius Pepsi kegs, and a brand-new lightweight 5 lb. aluminum CO2 tank. Each kit includes detailed instructions to help make the conversion process quick and easy.

Order came pretty quick and included everything i needed except the CO2 itself. A quick fill down the street and I was set. It didn't advertise it but it also came with the small piece of pvc that is helpful in making sure you don't crush your fridge door with the shank so that was a big plus. All parts were pretty high quality. Only negatives would be that the regulator valve being a "knob" instead of a "lever" was a bit more difficult to use but really not a big deal and that the ball valve at the line to the keg is fairly cheap plastic I will likely replace later but that's only a few bucks at a hardware store. Mine also came with the instructions for a commercial keg even though the ball lock valves it comes with are clearly for a corny keg.Overall a great product that I in fact did recommend to a friend about to build his post mount faucet instead of this door mount.

Pretty happy with it, just installed. Instructions have a few mysteries in them, but easy to work through and if you have ever attached a hose clamp.

This is a good kit. Pressure gauge and tap handle are of very nice quality. C02 regulation is good, and has assisted in the production of some nice beverages. The Aluminum tank also seemed to be very well built. However, not relating to this product (but maybe your choice to purchase the tank) it will do you well to research businesses in your area that handle C02 tanks. The gas companies in my area only exchange tanks, so I had to trade my shiny brand new (empty) Aluminum tank for some cruddy steel one to get a full can of C02. I ended up losing a few bucks in the exchange, because a used steel tank is worth less than a new aluminum one. If the same goes for your area you may want to forego purchasing the tank and only get the other pieces.Kegco gets five stars because the quality of this kit is top-notch.

I've only been using this kit for a couple brews so far, but it's holding up great. The 5 lb CO2 tank was less than a month old, but I didn't use it; my LHBS was happy to take it in on trade for a slight used 20 lb tank. I purchased an additional regulator (Kegco 541), additional ball locks, lines and tap directly from Beverage Factory. Make sure to get a left hand threaded nipple to daisy chain additional Kegco regulators.Gauges seem accurate, they are a little touchy, but not hard to master. No leaks in the system that I can tell. Looking forward to upgrading to 4 kegs later this year and planning to stick with Kegco and Beverage Factory.

I should of moved on when I read "BUYER BEWARE: Only Beverage Factory sells this genuine Kegco kit as pictured." and like they say it wasn't as pictured. The picture in this case does not say 1000 words, you do get most of what is shown but it is not "exactly" what is shown. My Reg had some issues as well. 1. The lo pressure gauge arrived cracked, It was replaced quickly how ever it was not the same type and looks awkward since the gauges no longer match but who is going to be looking at it for aesthetic reasons. 2. I hooked it up to my Co2 and it leaked... after taking the reg fully apart and reassembling it with seal tape and gaskets it was working fine... I am not really even upset about that part because it gave me an excuse to add a y splitter and an additional line out so I can now run dual kegs. This set up is cheaper even with the additional items that I needed to make it work right. The biggest issue was that there were no directions nor was there an itemized list of what I should have received. The assembly is basic enough but it would be nice to know whats up. All in all this product works as intended and after I drill a couple holes my kegerator will be up and running.

I ordered this to build my keezer, it came in the mail in about a week. The quality of everything appears to be good, I was happy it came with the CO2 tank as most kits don't and the shipping is a lot more. I don't know who put everything the box, but they didn't do a very good job. Some of the parts barely fit inside the smaller boxes inside the larger box and were all dented up. Everything just looked like it was thrown in the box. When I took the regulator out I noticed and hooked it up the CO2 tank (once filled... they cant be shipped filled) and test it out, I noticed that the face of one of the gauges was bent so that was a little disappointing. I had to had to take the regulator apart and put it back together, but now it is fine (I figured that was easier than dealing with my company and sending it back). Also threw away the cheap hose clamps that come with it and got some stainless screw clamps. Over all I am satisfied with it, mostly because I didn't have to pay shipping which if i ordered directly from Beverage Factory, I would have had to.

First, you don't get the red tank that is shown, mine is raw aluminum color. Not a big deal but still not truthful advertising. Regulator seems cheaply made. I have a 742 and it feels heavy and of good quality. This regulator is a cheap hobby type. My kit cane with real work drive hose clamps, this is better than the plastic clips that came with my last kit. Seems to be plenty of hoses too. Faucet feels cheap. I have Perlick 633, it is way better and smoother. This kegco type feels rough. My take is for $130, you get a $60 tank, $20 faucet, and a $30 regulator, the rest is in the hoses, clamps, and ball lock connectors. I don't feel like I got a good deal but not really screwed either. If I would have known I would have opted for the better faucet and regulator. All in all this kit will get you started, or at least I think it will. I haven't filled my tank and tried the regulator yet.UPDATE, the regulator leaked and I had to reseal it. Gas port connector won't stop leaking. Don't buy.
