Installation Tips
- Remove tailgate door by dismantling inner panel and bolts, and disconnecting the support cable.
- Fit the fence on both sides, including the tailgate brace, rear brace, and plastic rub blocks.
- Reattach tailgate bed, secure the cable, and replace tie-down d-rings with bed extender.
- Finish by tightening locking nuts and refitting the inner panel. Refer to the Product Manual for more detailed instructions.

Love that it folds up.Hard to install. You absolutely have to have 2 people. And definitely YouTube it. It's confusing. They also shorted us on bolts. Which was such a pain.Overall, now that it's installed. It's very convenient and gives us so much more extra needed room.

When the tailgate is up, you can't use the rear seats. You have to let the tailgate down to use them. And the tailgate is not secured in place, meaning unless you have something holding it down, it's going to flop around while down if you're using the rear seats. It gives a TON of extra room and is made out of very nice thick steel. But not being able to use the seats with the tailgate up is a dealbreaker for me.UPDATE: I will say, however, that if you do not have the extra seats in the back like the2 or 3 seater, this is the perfect product for you. It folds very nicely and is nice thick steel. I was in contact with Kemimoto support and they are very nice and supportive, and they listened to my design ideas on the product to make it even better. Also the heavy duty steel provides plenty of weight so the tailgate doesn't really flop too much, specially when it's carrying a lload.

Rattles when tailgate is up. Poorly built. Doesn't work well with a enclosure. It is not easy to take on and off the tailgate as needed

Holes don't line up right to lock it in place or to fold it up. Everything is off just a little. And can't close the bed extender and tailgate with the rear seats up on my Pioneer 1000-5. Really stiff, and not really easy to use. Does do a great job of extending the bed and giving more room. Just wish it was a little more user friendly.

Does not allow tailgate to close when rear seats are in up position. Will have to modify the bracket by cutting off about an Inch on both sides of the extender. Does extend the bed however. I would not recommend this product.

2018 pioneer 700-4. Easy to follow directions. Packaged well. Great durable material. Tailgate doesn’t close if seats are up. Not a problem for me. Installed, rode 200 miles over 2 days on trails. No problem. Highly recommend

WORKS WELL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT GIVE YOU DETAILS ABOUT INSTALLATION ON HOW TO REMOVE THE TAILGATE REALLY NEED TWO PEOPLE TO DO THIS! HAD TO UTUBE HOW TO GET TAILGATE OFF IS WHY I GAVE FOUR STARS.
