The Whip Lights by KEMIMOTO, are solidly built, bright and super fun under the right conditions. However, they include some imperfections as well. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – They look and feel like well-made lights. They also have a nice weight to them that always gives an impression of good quality.II. Installation – The install was very easy for my application with the included brackets, wiring and control button. The hardest part was running the wires. The wires are too short if you’re going to run it to the back of a sand rail.III. Performance – These lights work great to provide a good amount of light that can be switched between different colors. They can be extremely cool in the fog or smoke, but fail to be useful at all in clear conditions as you can’t see them. The main picture leads me to believe they looked like a light saber, but in reality they don’t work like that. The main junction box between the switch and the lights gets very hot and the lenses are scratch prone.Overall, this is a good set of lights, providing some great additional lighting if you happen to be in the fog, but that’s not enough for me to feel like they were a good choice. I feel like I was misled by the ad photos and wouldn’t have picked them if I know. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

very cool and bright lasers, very compact and rigid housing, easily clamps onto the rollbar for easy install, wiring is straight forward as well, these lasers are pretty cool in the dark and dust, will still want whips for daytime though.

These are the perfect answer for riding in dusty and rainy conditions! Easy to install with provide hardware. I installed these on my 2020 RZR 1000s to use mainly during the day so riders behind me can see me on the dusty trials. Running the wires through the roll cage is a bit tedious, but well worth it. The are very bright and distinguishable! Kemimoto is amazing with there off road products!

The wires are not long enough to fit a 4 seat UTV/SXS, and they do not sell extensions... nor do they give you the gauge of the wires to go buy generic wiring. Also I am surprised by the lens on the end of the light... light spills everywhere on the sides and it ruins the experience... it's like a lamp with no lamp shade, you feel like you are looking directly at the bulb and it completely overpowers the beam that is supposed to be shining up into the sky. I had to buy a piece of ABS pipe to epoxy over the lens to make a light barrier for the sides (See picture)Lastly the remote is ridiculous, that fact forces you to only wire the lights in accessory mode or drain your battery. These lights are best used while "hard parking" your vehicle at events and it would be very useful to do so with the vehicle "off" completely
