This is a Great product to have for your laptop to keep people from stealing your computer. I got it for the added protection. It comes with 2 keys and a fairly long cable. It's really thick cable and durable. It's working for me and I would suggest it to anyone who wants that added protection for your laptop. You get what you pay for, which is so rare nowadays. The price is well worth it.

I really like this cable, it's easy to use. Although it's a bit bulky... which is why I took 1 star off. There's no examples of how strong the cable is against cable cutters, or a blow torch. The problem is I don't really want to spend $55 to break one of these to prove a point that it isn't as secure as advertised...

Bought this to use with a Lenovo Think Pad. I have many of their other laptop locks; however, none would fit the type of female end in the laptop that is required. I've used various Kensington laptop locks over the years with great success. I have no fear that my laptop will be where I secured it when I return.

Fits 2017 iMac. The Apple Store employees were not sure whether this would work but because of Amazon's awesome customer service, I took a chance. The first time I inserted the lock was really right , it's in and it works

Die Kensington-Schlösser zum Absichern von Notebooks und anderen Geräten kenne ich schon lange, habe diesen aber wenig Bedeutung beigemessen. Da ich zunehmend mein privates Notebook im Büro benötige, wollte ich dieses nicht immer nach Benutzung in die Tasche stecken und dann im Schrank einschließen um mit einem guten Gefühl zum Mittagessen zu gehen. Das Kensington-Notebookschloss wird seither an der Heizung und dann eben am Gerät befestigt. Die Verarbeitung macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck und auch die Länge des Schlosses ist ausreichend lange. Mit dem Schlüssel ist es schnell geöffnet und ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass mein Gerät nicht ohne Weiteres entfernt werden kann, obwohl die "Nase" recht klein ist und schwächlich aussieht, welche letztlich in das Notebook eingeführt und verriegelt wird. Im Internet lassen sich diverse Videos finden, welche die Stärke des Materials demonstrieren (z.B. Überwachungsvideos von Einbrüchen). Ich für meinen Teil habe ein deutlich besseres Gefühl, wenn ich meine Hardware nun für entsprechende Zeit unbeaufsichtigt stehen lassen muss.

Es una ventaja para que no se pierda, sÃ...Pero los inconvenientes son mayores (al menos para mÃ). Yo querÃa guardar la llave en mi llavero (el que llevo a todos los lados), pero si suelto el pc (necesario para transportarlo), la llave queda sujeta al candado, por lo que no la puedo tener en el llavero. PodrÃa colocar la llave en el llavero cada vez que sujeto el pc, sÃ... pero es un engorro. Y, si no lo hago, cada vez que ato el pc y la quito, tengo el riesgo de que se extravÃe

Très bon câble de sécurité. Je l'utilise au travail pour mon ordinateur portable lorsque je dois m'absenter de mon bureau. Rien à dire, très solide, prix peut être un peu élevé, mais c'est le montant de la sécurité.

I work in IT so I actually have several laptops that I use regularly, depending on what I'm doing. I've got a Toshiba Portage ultrabook and it works perfectly with this. I've got a more modern Lenovo laptop and I cannot get the lock to attach no matter what I do, similarly with a Microsoft Surface 2 laptop. The Toshiba one is my main works laptop so i take it with me when I travel around the country for work, this lock comes in handy for leaving a laptop in a hotel room in the evening, easy to attach to a table in the room.It's a shame it doesn't appear to work in all laptops, I'd check the Kensington web site for details before buying and PLEASE remember that this cannot guarantee that your computer will not be stolen, it just makes it a bit harder.

I bought this in the same time with my alienware but the laptop delivery was delayed so can't return it. Is too thick for alienware area 51m even if on site says is compatible. The quality looks ok but since I can't return, will leave 1* for incompatibility.
