The speakers these are replacing were originally compound speakers intended to act as mid-bass drivers for the rear. Unfortunately, they never really worked right, even when new due to their much too small size. These new ones perform for their intended use, and then some. Now there is a more balanced sound coming from the front and back of the car. All that's missing now is a subwoofer to complete the system.In short, these work fantastically for their low price!

Had a Milwaukee radio for like 10+ years, one day it blew a speaker and i found these 4 inch Kenwoods and gave them a try. I'm impressed...I actually believe they are an upgrade from the factory ones!
