Previously I owned the Suncast version of the plastic indoor/outdoor garbage can. In brown and then in the lighter beige/sand. Both of them had issues with the flip top breaking off and both were nearly impossible to remove the bag from without a snag. We dreaded a full bag. My husband would use swear words when pulling it out. But we have greyhounds - tall dogs with pointy snouts perfect for can work. So I came across this one as a replacement. I also hate the look of an ugly can sitting in our kitchen and the smell of garbage lingering in a cabinet - no way. I also like to be able to clean my garbage cans with ammonia once or twice a month to sanitize. So I bought 2 of these to replace what was left of our last set-up, moved to a bigger place with a bigger kitchen. Bought 2. LOVE them. Holy cow the full bag just glides out! No potty mouth, no ripped bags, no pulling things out to try and pry the bag out (which is all kinds of awful). Glides... beautiful. Top is heavy enough to prevent a snout breach and if I desire, the top will stay open during a two handed disposal moment. And they look great. No escaping odors, no parts that I know will break over time and the design actually matches my personal kitchen but a remodeled one maybe not so much. Only drawback - would love to see more "modern" colors available but that's on me, not the can. The can is perfect. Bought one for garbage, another for recyclables. 33 gallon bags fit perfect with enough excess to always allow a clean tie up. Well worth the price. As for the handles, it took 30 seconds to put them on but I like that I could change to match my decor if I decided to.

We recently moved into a newer, nicer home and thought our recycle cans were distracting & unsightly (see my before & after pic). I’d looked at a stainless steel combo set, but it was more than $200, had reviews that it arrived dented and they didn’t hold much, so I thought these would be winners. They are.The color & handles match our kitchen perfectly and while they’re big, they’re much more subtle than what we had before. Now, they are huge. They’re 30 gallons which is almost as big as many outdoor garbage cans (the ones I use for yard waste are 33 gallons). This worked perfectly for our situation since we have a ton of recycling. We can fill one for about 2 weeks for regular recycling and have only filled the glass one once in the several weeks we’ve had these. Just make sure you measure the area you plan to put these to ensure they’ll fit. They come nearly assembled, you just need to screw the handle on, which was easy. There’s a removable frame you can fold a garbage bag over to hold it nicely in place. These are very sturdy and it looks like the inside is water-tight so you probably don’t need to worry about any liquids leaking out. They perfectly met our needs and I’m very pleased with them. They’ve worked perfectly for us and I highly recommend them.

We bought this for our pantry/kitchen. It looks very nice there! If you are looking for an indoor sturdy garbage, with an easy open lid, then this is for you! We love the color and style. The dog/chocolate lab no longer gets into the garbage. This is nice and tall. My husband had to put a washer in with each screw to tighten the handle because it was too loose and not sturdy enough, otherwise it came assembled and we love it!!! Would recommend this. The only thing we do not like is the cheap/loose handle--until we used a washer with the screw then it was perfect!

This is one super trash can!! It doesn't look like something that belongs outside, it's easy to put a garbage bag in and hide it so it doesn't hang all over the sides. Plus, it holds a ton of trash so you're not emptying it every five minutes, and actually looks nice in the kitchen. Very pleased with it and highly recommend it!

The Trash Can works fine, perfect size, seems durable, looks decent. The problem is silly. There are formed indentions in the resin for both the handles and the screws. But, if you use the indentions without adding spacers (washers or filler) the screws are too long and you can't get a snug fit with the handle. So, if you assemble as designed; the handle wobbles up and down. Screws need to be a couple mm shorter, or washers need to be included (IMO the best option), or the indentions need to be reshaped to leave a thicker wall between the screw head and the handle.

We love how sturdy it is. Very tall compared to all garbage cans we have had in the past. Also holds a lot more trash in each bag. I’m loving that. Overall great design.

We bought this a few years ago and it still meets our needs. We keep it on the back deck, so we needed one that looked nice and had a cover that wouldn't blow away every time the wind kicked up. It has held up very well, and I can recommend this product. One note of caution, though, if you cram as much garbage as possible into this trash can, getting the bag out can be a real adventure.

I had reservations about this, but it is everything we were looking for. We'd begun using 30 gallon bags in our 13 gallon kitchen trash bin since our family is like many others - building garbage pyramids on top so as to see who can throw everything away without having to be the person that actually takes out the trash. This thing looks great, is light weight, and can be easily cleaned. The snap ring on top keeps the bag from falling through and you can make use of a 30 gallon bag without having to empty the trash over and over. It's much taller than a normal kitchen can, fits snugly in the corner, has a nice flat top, and doesn't cost a fortune like smaller, stainless cans. Thinking about purchasing another for the back patio by the grill.

I love this garbage can. It looks great on my deck, and doesn't fade in direct sun. I've had it for a couple of seasons and although it was expensive I'm glad I went for it. I think it will last a good long time!

I love this trash can, but a part of the lid broke in the first few weeks of owning it.

Love this garbage can. Just need to make sure your bags are big enough to put in it. Easy to clean and wipe down.
