I replaced the battery in the fob for my Mazda CX7 2010 and it's working fine.The process of changing it is a little bit fiddly, but that has nothing to do with the battery. That's Mazda's fault!The battery, so far is great. I hope it has a long life, as replacing them isn't fun.I will update this listing if this battery doesn't live up to it's promised lifespan.

This battery kit for replacing a car key fob battery was fantastic. It comes with two Panasonic batteries, a philips-head screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, and a spudger tool. In addition, it has a QR code on the back, which takes you to a video, narrated in clear English, which shows and explains step-by-step how to replace your battery.Following the steps, it took me about 10 minutes to replace the battery, and I could have done it in less time if my key fob wasn’t glued together with dirt. I used everything in the kit, since the flat-head screwdriver, while not needed for the screw, makes it easier to pop the fob open, and the spudger is excellent for cracking it open the rest of the way. It’s nice to be able to lock my car remotely again.I recommend this kit even if you’re not particularly handy. It comes with two batteries, so you can either replace the batteries in both keyfobs at once (if your car came with the standard 2) or replace one and keep the other for later. The batteries are good until 2034, which gives me plenty of time to use the other one.

Hard to tell the quality of the battery from a short purchase to review window. However, the kit is kind of nice. It is nice to have a few tools to try to open the battery compartment without damaging all the plastic. The battery seems to be a good size and works well. I'll have to see how long it lasts.
