UPDATE: Feb 2025Just bought a 2nd one to replace the 2nd FOB for my 2012 Charger R/T that has a broken button. Switched out controller and it works perfectly! Put original physical key in this new FOB and stored blank key just in case. Only difference is it doesn’t have “Dodge†on the back but who cares? Saved $100’s+!2023: Just swap out the circuit boards and removable physical key. Voila! Dealership wants $300-$400 to replace broken FOB. Buy this generic one and swap the board/key in 5 mins. Save $100’s!! Best $ I spent in long time. I was putting it off forever because I was dreading haggling with dealer or getting software from locksmith. Someone mentioned this method so I tried it. So glad I did. Brand new key FOB for my 2012 Charger RT for $30!

The price for the key fob was great. So far, it works perfectly. Please know that it does not come with programming instructions. You definitely have to get a locksmith or dealership to program it ----- cost us a extra $208. Cheaper than dealer, but still an unexpected fee.

The fob was able to be programmed and was fully functional. Unfortunately it stopped working after 6 months… left us stranded. Fob really has to last longer than this.I did try battery change so that’s not the issue.

UPDATED. The fobs DO WORK. 2015 Dodge dart GT. They come ACTIVATRD. They do bit till you this. So you need to go right Into mimo programming. Takes about 60 seconds total for two keys using an autel key programmer.You MUST delete all other keys then program these two new ones if you have all keys lost.Bought an autel programmer, wouldn't read the keys. Tried changing batteries, nothing. Finally called out a professional and he charged me $225 to tell me these fobs are GARBAGE. He programmed one of his and it worked. STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!!

My husband loved it because it has the key as well. So if the buttons stop working you can still gain access into the car. Programming it was not a problem. Very economical!!
