You will need a scan tool on some vehicles- I had a 2015 town and country. Some vehicles may allow you to cycle the key and program but not mine. The programming went well except someone previous had exceeded the allowed three attempts so i had to leave the key on for an hour before programming. Keep in mind, not many places will let you cut the key portion so in my case I still don't have a cut key but if you have an old time store near, they may cut it. Not home depot or lowes.

My key fob stopped working for my 2016 Town & Country. The dealership wanted $500 for a new one, which is absurd. I purchased these keys and the Car Keys Express Universal EZ Installer (another reviewer linked to it) ASIN on Amazon: B0C6B519ZJ. In under 10 minutes, I had 2 new key fobs that work almost exactly as my others did. Only differences - push start doesn’t work (need to use the key manually) and the doors don’t unlock automatically, I have to push the button. I’ll deal with that for not spending an extra $400+ for a car I use sparingly.

I ordered these 2 keys after the dealership quoted a ridiculous price for each keyfob, from them I needed to order the key, + a $200 reprogramming fee and you have to make an appointment, so they likely charge a service fee as well. This PRODUCT was perfect, although there was a slight difference. the rubber button area on the originals had domed spots on the underside that made it connect with the board inside. On the new model the board had the domed spots on it and the rubber buttons had a flat underside. My original key had broken down the sides of the panic button (the part that inserts into the car to start it), so I ended up opening the old key and just grabbing the board which is free floating inside, nothing to unplug etc and also removing the rubber button cover. I then opened the new product, removed the board and cover and put the old keys board and cover in the new key surround so that I didn't pay for reprogramming. It was seriously easier than reprogramming the key. Plus that meant my new key was basically 10 bucks. I saved hundreds ! If it's not your "board" that is the problem, you can seriously just move over your board and rubber cover and you'll have a new surround and battery from the new key. worked like a charm! What the dealerships are charging for keys is highway robbery. if it IS your board, then I highly suggest one of the devices sold online with the little device that hooks to your cars computer and reprograms for you through your phone or the device. It's well worth the 60-100 that you would spend and still cheaper than the car dealership!

The price was great! When I called to have it programed, they said to bring my not working fans. They got both working. I am keeping thsse new fobs Mine are old and been repaired several times. The cost will be to have them programed for my vehicle.

The key fobs did not arrive with any programming instructions. At an earlier date I ordered ford fobs and they arrived with instructions and they work well. With no instructions these for my Chrysler are useless. Pls provide instructions

Dodge Caravan Even though most sales information stated on this listings as is self programmable, that was not correct. Perfect condition item, perfect selection great quality and instructions but Dodge does not allow my year car, 2012 to program automatically so I had to take it to the dealership and pay $100 (hawaii) to have it programmed.WORKS PERFECTLY. THANK YOU

Las programaron rápidamente para mi Town & Country 2008 3.8l V6 Americana y el cerrajero también realizó los cortes a las llaves incluidas por $600.00 MXP por todo el trabajo. No me acerqué a la agencia Chrysler porque que se mandan cobrando los miles por cualquier detalle. Solo tenÃa la llave original y necesitaba alguna copia de respaldo para cualquier situación y estos Key Fobs me salvaron del problema. Muy buena compra!!!

Este reemplazo resultó excelente para cambiar la coraza original, la cual se despegó despues de 7 años de uso. Cambié la tarjeta vieja a la coraza nueva, tal cual, limpiando con un algodón mojado de alcohol, y listo! no requerà de programar al llavero nuevo. Lo guardo por si alguna vez requiero de él. La programada, en un taller de copiado de llaves, era de 900 pesos o 45 dólares. Si no tuviera la llave, el costo se duplica. Con 260 peso de esta llave resolvà el problema. Tengo una minivan 2013, que requiere de programación especializada, por el momento me la ahorré.

Me llego muy rápido el pedido, hoy fui con el cerrajero automotriz y me programó exitosamente mis dos fobis y le hizo el dibujo a la llave asà que ya tengo nuevamente dos llaves a un super precio ya que el programador tampoco se pasó de la raya, un chavo de Gdl. El único detalle es que un control no abre bien los seguros asà que estoy usando el que funciona al 100%. DirÃa que tuve mucho más que en otras ocasiones donde siempre te quieren vender las llaves carisisisisimas y no es justo, además el material está muy bien, gracias Amazon
