I purchased this because I someone had mentioned it on Reddit. When I popped the cover off I was surprised to see the air intake full of helicopters and leafy debris. I thoroughly vacuumed everything out then dropped this in place. It does have tape to secure it but it didn't seem necessary because with the cover clicked back on this was secure. I'm really surprised this wasn't a part that came with the car. This definitely will keep nature out of your air intake and keep your blower motor from being overworked.

Extremely easy to install and fit perfectly. Tesla should install them at the factory, as all Tesla M3 should have them.

It's exactly as advertised and I know it helpe my vehicle since I have to aprk underneath messy trees who drop all manner of gifts onto my car. I gave the adhesions a 3-star however, only becuase it doesn't "clip" or "secure" itself in any way, it just sits in place, but that is not an issue unless your car gets flipped I suppose

Helps a great deal from falling leaves and twigs that leave a scent of mildew in the cabin. Does not impede air flow. Fits like a glove.

Plastic but well made no issues with the installation. Make sure to clean the area before installing the grill.

Don't understand why Telsa Manufacture did not provide this useful part along with me replacing a new air filter. This inlet air vent cover was a flush fit into the mount body before covering it back up under the hood. Before installed: I made sure to wipe any leftover debris & vacuum any leaves/dirt that is obstructing the inside intake cabin compartment for better air flow.
