Great door lock. A little bulky, but totally solid. works well. Fairly easy to install. Takes a bit to do the coding but it work excellent.

Seems very well made, easy to install. I'm still figuring it out, but I think this is the perfect lock for me; I'm planning to make a custom door arrangement and was wanting a lock for an extra wide door, but these door knobs are just a little longer than any knobs I've had before, so it will probably be perfect for my use.My only suggestion is that the instruction sheet could possibly be written to be a little more idiot proof... but that's just me.EDITS--Though nice and easy to grip the nice rubbery knobs, the knob diameter is a little too big (and I have big hands!); it comes too close to the door frame, kind of squishing my fingers sometimes when I open the door from outside in a hurry with my hands full.-There's no easy way to just try to turn the knob from inside to quickly verify that it is locked; the inside knob ALWAYS opens the door regardless of if it's locked or not.-Customer service is excellent; I misunderstood the instructions programming it a couple times, and chatting on their website, they helped me figure it out.-The large rubber coated easy grip door knobs for those who otherwise have trouble gripping and turning a doorknob for some reason.-I'm still very happy with it and will likely buy another soon.Update, October 16, 2024- I purchased this in August, 2023. 1 year later, I somehow accidently pressed just a few digits that this lock did not like; it made sounds like I've never before heard out of this lock and when I returned home last night, it would not accept the old combination. Having neglected to take the key with me, and having left the package with the master combination and instructions inside the house, I realized I had only one choice.Fortunately, I had a hacksaw with a nice new high speed steel, fine tooth hacksaw blade, and was relatively easy to saw through the surprisingly substantial, ~1" of what appeared to be solid steel to cut off the exterior door knob, and turned the innards with a little flat bladed screwdriver to open the door. IMHO, this level of security/resistance to cutting with a hacksaw is commensurate with the general security level of the door and what I paid for this lockset, so I'm totally good with how this all worked out. While I'm not thrilled that there were apparently a few too-easy-to-stumble-upon keystrokes that essentially bricked my door lock, it is totally my fault that I neglected to keep the key somewhere accessible and had to destroy this lockset to get back into my house.Anyhow, having had to resort to destroying my lockset, I am reordering another one just like it today.

I couldn't be happier with this keypad doorknob! Installation was straightforward, even for someone who's not particularly handy, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The convenience of keyless entry has been a game-changer. I no longer have to fumble with keys or worry about losing them. Programming and changing codes is a breeze, and I love the ability to set temporary codes for guests. The design matches the rest of my home, complementing my door perfectly. It's also incredibly sturdy, giving me peace of mind about security. The battery life has been excellent, and the low-battery warning ensures I'll never get locked out.Overall, this is a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their home security and convenience. Highly recommend!

These seem to last about 1 to 2 years before needing replacement, not battery replacement, they just stop working after awhile. But they work well, ours gets semi wet when it rains, very convenient with keys that are easy to see.The rubber grip is nice, the smooth ones are harder to open. Great value, buy a couple you are going to like them.

We installed these door knobs within our HOA community. It was so easy to program. Each person authorized access to the area provided their own code to remember and was told not to share with anyone. There is no reason to share codes because there are 50 available. This has worked out fabulously, no complaints during the transition and no problems since installation 6 months ago.

This doorknob matched what I was looking for. However, there are a few tips and observations I would like to share.Installation: 20-30 minutes. Pretty easy.I read some other reviews and quite frankly, unless you're including (and shouldn't) any modifications you had to make to the door's hole to accomodate - the actual installation of the doorknob and all parts is fairly easy. It does require a bit of patience, but really was again, quite easy.I _did_ have to and struggled with making the doorknob hole in my closet door larger, only for lack of proper tools. Yet I still managed to do it myself, again with a little patience and determination.Using the doorknob/lock: Easy enough to program.Changed the default master code no problem. Was able to test both 'Easy Passage' and 'Advanced Easy Passage' mode successfully without any troubles.Setup my first 'User Code' as my day to day code - check.Tested the 'Password Disguise' feature successfully as well. This essentially would be used whenever someone is in sight of you entering the code. Instead of an ackward 'could you step away so I can enter the code' or equivalent, you can simply enter any number and sequence of digits before and/or after a REAL code. For example. If I have a code set '1221' and enter 222244444333353543433212212343242342' it would work as a valid user code can be found in the sequence. Any combination up to 40 digits containing a valid user code will work. I find that very usefull if understood properly and thus used in appropriate situations. Huge plus. This next point is HUGE in my opinion. There was at least one reviewer rightfu;;y sharing the doorknob is flawed; if you enter in sequence all the numbers from 1 through 0, then the check - the door opens.I was horrified because its true.>>>>>> BUT IT guy that I am immediately started analyzing by testing and comparing. Here's what I found and how I remedied 100%.I am not sure if that above sequence and maybe some others are 'backdoor' or 'default' codes put in, or poorly/undocumented ones - but - as the instructions indicate, any code CAN be deleted. Right? So I started with the first one. I found there were otheres, but its not too hard to find and delete them. And yes - deleting them works. For example:I think there was 1 by itself. Then 1-2. And also 1-2-3. (always finished with the check). The only way my horror was COMPLETELY relieved was the fact that deleting whatever I found - actually WORKED.I have not found any other combinations that I haven't set that work AFTER I deleted them. So, take the time to test the above and make sure to clean out any unwanted user codes.A few reviewers also commented and I tested this with my son so I can confirm 100%, from the 'inside' you cannot open the lock. And yeah, unless you know what you're doing, you need to be careful not to lock yourself inside! (or outside - but I realize that this is not a practical use for the doorknob. Since it doesn't have a way (that I found) to at least toggle this aspect. (hint to Bothstar). However, for a closet, or room that you want to have only one way access - this is perfect. Think about your safe and valuables in your closet or room (if door format supports it). Basically in that context my recommendation is that when you are present - put it in ADVANCED EASY PASSAGE. When away - turn that off. Be it a closet door or a room door context - that makes sense 100%.But even if someone actually gets locked in without your knowledge, its probably something you should be worried about (like they waited to slip in before the door closed, which franky would be hard to happen)But for fun and context, lets just say this is a tools closet at a store or business. Or a studio/photography/purpose room that you don't want to give access to.Maybe some ingenious thieves WOULD try to devise a way to get inside before the door closes.Again, like only if they're leet as peter flippin' pan?! So lets humor that. Now they're locked in. Lets just say they manage to get the cover off, and remove the batteries, pull the plug, etc.... the doorknob will remain locked.Sure, with sufficient brute force I'm certain the lock could be broken and the door forced - but that's any door and you hope you have more layers of security in this context to prevent that from happening - i.e. cameras overlooking the use/access of the door in question. And if someone is able to figure the code out without your knowledge, then you need to review how you're safekeeping this info (if) and how you use the doorknob. For me, I am using it for a walkin closet where I have items that I would prefer to keep physically seperate and secured in general (safe and valubles, NAS/NVR, tools, etc). Its everything I hoped for.My only concern, really, is actually from yet again, some reviewers seem to say that they doorknobs are or can become faulty and stop working. I'm hoping that is just bad luck and/or maybe a little poor understanding of the way the doorknob works and how it can be used effectively.Ok, it could come with some better, complete instructions but for me that isn't an issue as I was able to find sufficient instruction searching on the web. Also it is about a third bigger maybe than a normal doorknob and more a donut then knob. Doornut? lol Still, its super stylish and contemporary (i got the black one). Finally, it is a well made, solid product.Would recommend 100%

After less than six months of use, the lock failed. Since we are in Canada the manifacturer says it won't uphold the warranty, and the responsability is on the seller. The seller hasn't responded to several emails. You should avoid both of them and look elsewhere. Would give ZERO stars.
