IU-30 is the second generation keypad door knob lock from iulock. It has perfect size with a removable silicone gripper,more snug on handle. It can be adapted to more doors and can completely replace traditional mechanical doorknobs, mechanical door handle locks and door lever locks.
Auto-Lock for peace of mind, so you are never forgetting to lock the door, auto-lock after 4 seconds of being opened, aut-lock timer can also be programmed by yourself.
High weather resistance Special waterproof technology is used inside the knob, which can work well in the sunny or rainy environment.
Low power consumption, no need to change batteries frequently,4 AAA alkaline batteries can usually be used for more than 18 months,and the low battery alarm is 2 months in advance.
With wide temperature design, each part can run under wide temperature, and through strict wide temperature test to ensure that each lock runs smoothly from -22F to 176F.
This keypad door knob offers passcode or key to access. 1 master code and 50 user codes.Access codes can be 1 - 15 digit in length.
Enable silent mode when you don't want to be disturbed by the beeping.
Passcode protect supports you enter random digits before or after the correct access code.
Two passage modes are available. Easy passage mode for easy back to auto-lock. Advanced passage for a long time no need to auto-lock.

When installed on metal doors,using the rosette rubber seal will protect your door against from rain and dust.
- Door thickness: from 1-3/8" to 2-1/2"
- Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4"
- Rosette diameter: 3-1/8"
- Knob length: 2-3/4" (single side)
When installed on wooden doors, 2 small studs of the rosette allow the lock to be installed more firmly.

This lock is easy to install, please refer to the installation user manual first. The warning section in the manual requires special attention.
MASTER CODE
The master code MUST EXIST and can be modified, but cannot be deleted. Therefore, you must modify the matser code when you start using it.

I really like the fact this allowed me to retain my double keyed dead bolt. The rubberized grip is very nice also. It does also come with two keys.Out of curiosity I checked the battery and at 4 months they still show a full charge.Installation was a breeze and it works really well.It requires a master code to add codes. There is a factory master code which can be change by the end user. The master code you choose will replace the factory code and if you did by chance forget your code you can reset and restore the factory master code and start over.Entering your code will allow you to enter and defaults to locked once you close the door. There is an override code sequence if you want to keep the door unlocked all day. At the end of that period you just hit any key to restore the auto lock.They allow a generous number of code for entry, you just need the master code to add them.I did have a problem with the latch mechanism and contacted the company and after a brief troubleshooting session they sent out a replacement at no cost to me.There wasn't any problem with the actual door knob, only the latch.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the solid construction and design. I love that you can change the batteries very easily by just unscrewing one screw and removing the inside knob cover. The rubber grips and rubber covers that go against the door are very nice design features. Programming it is easy and I love having the 2 backup keys. Highly recommend this unit.

The overall aesthetics, design, and function of this knob set are all excellent. The bolt, locking, and security attributes all seem both precision and heavy duty.The setup or “programming†of passcodes is simple - and easily implemented.There were only 2 “curiosities†I personally encountered. Since I was interested only in a fast installation requiring no advanced features, I did not track down the further information to answer my questions.So for what it is worth…I found the two (knob skirt flange to door surface) rubber sealing gaskets (inner and outer) to be a PITA to install, so they lay perfectly “flatâ€.On each seal, there is a flat “smooth†side - and its other side has a slight groove (or “trackâ€) in them - which I “assumed†faces the knob, allowing its perimeter edge to “ride in it†- creating a seal between it and the door surface. The assembly drawing provided is not specific enough in detail to confirm or contradict this assertion.However, my best effort to hold the seal in proper positioning - with that track to flange relationship - (to remain perfectly in place around the entire circumference) while tightening the mounting screws - failed.And although there is a continuous seal of the rubber around the knob skirt, it is not uniformly flat and evenly spaced in its width around the flanges, in appearance.This was the case both on the interior and exterior surfaces. Therefore it may be that the seal should be inverted - such that its smooth side faces the knob, while the side with the channel mates to the door surface.My other unsolved mystery was in a failed attempt to successfully program a time period of “delaying the automatic re-locking after an unlock†(using my code) - was successfully achieved.I may be misunderstanding the feature description. But In following the sequence written in the instructions, the lock always indicated an error (red) before I even completed the sequence of codes to be inputted.So setting aside at least one of the fancy features (that I never considered anyway until I read the instructions) this is a very nice knob set.Its materials, design, feel, installation, and security all seem to be of very high quality and never hint that the unit (like most all items now in our market) is made in China.I do recommend this model for anyone wanting this feature set in a door knob that adequately secures your home, yet allows simple passcode access to those granted via the correct code.

Purchased two of these locks. Both were non-serviceable. I returned them. They were replaced with new locks. The new locks were easy to install, were easily programmed, and offer a variety of features. For example, you can have a sound when someone tries entering the code. This is beneficial if you are in another room and your kid goes to try and enter your office. Or you have a party and visitors start journeying around through your house. The sound can be turned on or off. You can program different codes for entering. The time when the door locks again can be adjusted. Overall, I'm very surprised how well these work. I might advise you get one for your office, a pantry, or a bedroom.
