There's always a big debate whether to use UV filters to protect your lenses. I do. I shoot a lot of outdoor sports (minor league baseball, rodeos, etc.) which includes a lot of dirt and dust. I got the 112mm filter to protect my new Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8. It's must too expensive not to protect.

Works well on my Nikon 14-24 mm. Does what it needs to do, protect with clarity.

This filter, like all of my K&F filters, are nice quality glass. This one though has an issue - the screw threads are not deep enough for use on Nikon HB97 hood. It has a tendency to pop right out of the Nikon hood that is used as the filter mount, even when screwed in tight. That said, I purchased the NISI replacement hood for the Nikon 14-24 and there are no problems using this filter.

The K&F Nano-X lens protector offers excellent performance at an affordable price. Having used ZXII protectors previously, I noticed that the K&F is only marginally more reflective, displaying a green-blue tint compared to the ZXII’s purple tint (as shown in the photo). While I haven’t conducted any formal tests, I believe the difference in reflectivity is unlikely to have a noticeable impact on image quality in practical use.
