It is better than the cardboard box the stapler comes in to store the stapler and the battery. Pictures didn't show the stapler and battery fitting inside the case, so I wasn't sure the stapler W battery would fit as I had hoped it would. I only have 2 Roybi tools that take the 18v battery, my main battery powered tools are old 19v Craftsman, which are sill going strong with Lithium battery's now. I like to keep my tools in carry bags for portability. This case also has room for a few small boxes of staples, very convenient. This is my 1st battery powered stapler, I normally used pneumatic staplers and still have then, but power cords and air lines are limiting. Battery power is just one more tool in the tool bag, it is great to live in the age of "portable" power tools.
