This light lamp was perfect for my boys room it went perfectly with the rest of the theme. However in my opinion for safety reasons I would’ve made this light lamp battery operated or even chargeable. Having to have the wire travel down to a plug sucks especially when it’s in a smaller child’s room 4 and under they don’t stop tugging to pull the light down so it can’t really be plugged in unless me or my husband is present to monitor and teach them not to touch or unless they are sleeping then they don’t really get to see it on. Smh but yeah I would change the plug.

I got this for a nightlight for my son’s bathroom. I read the reviews and was prepared for the annoying intermittent lighting. As I ordered the lamp, I also ordered some LED lightbulbs, actually got the bulbs before the lamp :). Once I got the lamp, I plugged it in and turned it on, just to see, and yes, just as stated in other reviews it wasn’t gonna work for what I wanted. Started to unscrew the back to change the lightbulbs and it seem that the plastic had melted on a couple of the 8 screws it has, I spent about 4 hours just trying to get it open without damaging it. Finally did, changed the bulbs and woila, perfect nightlight, my son loves it, he is 5 1/2 really into classic car btw.I’m not sure about mounting it on the wall, as I don’t think it’d be bright enough.

My son used this every night while he sleeps it provides just enough light so he isn’t scared while also allowing him to sleep.

This light is for my son's bedroom wall as a nightlight/decoration. It is pretty simple but appears well made. There are two main issues with this lamp:1) The color filters are not accurate. The green light is actually more yellow than green. And the middle yellow light is more orange. There is an easy way to correct this but requires buying separate LED bulbs. The lights inside are standard C7 form "night light" bulbs at 7 watts. If you replace them with C7 colored LED lights, the color accuracy is so much better. The back comes off extremely easily but you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver. There are eight screws. I used these for the light replacements: .2) The lights blink at odd and annoying intervals making it useless as a nightlight. But, by changing out the bulbs with the LEDs above, the blinking stops.So, after adding the LED lights to improve the color and stop the blinking, this is a great addition to my son's room. Still pricey, factoring in that you have to buy additional lights to fix the color being wrong.EDIT: I wanted to add that the LED lights also drop the wattage for each bulb from 7 watts per down to under 1/2 a watt per bulb. Not a bad energy savings.
