We just purchased these to replace old smoke detectors in our home. We like the fact that they do both carbon monoxide and smoke detection in one unit. They were super easy to install! Everything comes in the box, including batteries, which is convenient. We haven’t had to use them yet, but seem like great quality.

Obviously a good product.Big deal for me is that it fit into my old kidde Model KN-COSM-IBA ceiling bracket.Saved me about 10 minutes per unit of messing around to retrofit with a new ceiling bracket !Made installation very quick.

Zero stars if I could. Ordered 5 of these to replace 10+ year old detectors. Must have gotten a bad batch. They all go off randomly all the time for no reason. I’ve switched the batteries multiple times. There is no fire or smoke but it alarms as if there is one. I’m calling the manufacturer for a refund.

While we did these because our insurance company demanded they were in every room, I thought it was overkill. We live in CA and after seeing the fires you better believe we did this and before those fires even got started. I also bought 5 fire extinguishes. One in the car, 4 around the house. All, both alarms and extinguishes need replacing on a regular basis. Every ten years? We all need this.
