My 6 year old just started skiing. I got this bag for her over a year ago and it has been perfect for her boots, helmet, base layers, gloves, and a mid layer. The boot layer is protected enough that it doesn’t get wet and dirty after snowy boots go in. I was nervous to get this last year, but I’m really glad I made this purchase.

I had my doubts when I came across this bag on Amazon, because the name like 'Pengda' screams Made in China. The price was so good and the pictures were intriguing. I had to give it a try. So I drummed up the courage and just bought it.This week, it arrived. And now that I've received and used it, I can confirm that the quality is there: the fabric is strong, the build is sturdy, and the zippers are smooth. This bag has got enough volume to hold all the essentials: boots (10.5 US), helmet, gloves, goggle, and spare socks. Everything you'd need on the mountain fits in the bag.At the time I bought this bag, I also bought Wildhorn Brimhall (also made in China, apparently). Compared to the Wildhorn, this Pengda bag is more compact. The material (synthetic canvas?) is thicker on the Pengda - so it feels stronger to the touch and inspires more confidence in the carrier. The Wildhorn is taller and bulkier, and it can be converted into a backpack. It's got multiple compartments including a padded section specifically designed for goggle. The Wildhorn's larger volume ensures that it can hold more stuff - more than just the basic essentials listed above. But the drawback, again, is the bulkiness. All in all, I slightly prefer the Pengda, which, I feel, better embodies the KISS (Keep It Simple...) minimalist design principle.

We bought two of these for our recent ski trip. They perfectly fit a pair of boots, a helmet, my camelback, and then I was also able to add in my hand/foot warmers, my long-johns, ski socks, balaclava and mittens. It brought down the bulk of my suitcase substantially. The bright color made it easy to spot at baggage claim.

No problem fitting my size 13 - 348 MM ski boots into this bag plus my helmet and still able to squeeze some extra stuff into the boots, under the helmet and in a few odd spots. This is a durable bag, but not super heavy duty. I made the mistake of not removing the carry strap before check-in and the belt system at the airport damaged / broke the plastic connection clip.I replaced with another strap, but my fault, should have known better. For what this does, the bag was very convenient and at very nice price point. Used on two trips already (the second time forgot to remove the carry strap). I recommend, especially for large feet and helmets (at least up to 13).

Bought it a couple years ago because it was one of the few shoulder strap boot bags on the market and haven’t regretted it. Bag holds a ton of gear, and love that the gear pocket, which fits my helmet, in addition to my jacket and all my other equipment, is separate from the boots. Might not be the most durable as the zippers seem cheap but it has lasted so far. Even survived being checked luggage last year, although I probably won’t do that again this year. If it eventually breaks, will probably just purchase this same bag again due to price and features being top notch

Myself and 2 friends each used one of these bags to carry on the airplane our horseback riding gear. Short boots, half chaps, helmet, gloves. I actually packed a bunch of other stuff in my bag too. It made a great carry on fits in overhead bins. We all went to Ireland to ride. The other riders were envious of our bag as they juggled all their equipment. Lightweight and sturdy.

We are so pleased with these bags (we bought 2). We looked in many stores and there are none like these ones that open up wide at the back to slide your boots straight in. We love that we could stand on it if we really needed to as well, and that they are padded. The compartment at the top is great for helmet, gloves and other handy snow apparel keeping it separate from the boots yet still all in one place. Hoping to get years of use out of these bags. And hope to one day use them as carry on when the world settles down post-covid.The photos are accurate of how they look too, I would just caution the ones of the skiers/snowboarders wearing them whilst skiing... like (!?) who would want to ski with a bag over their shoulder?

The design form is precisely what I was looking for (boots & helmet), but the materials and quality are exactly what I like to avoid. This could be a decent bag if the materials were more robust, stiff, and PU-backed. This is a flimsy bag, and you can feel the cheap open-cell foam (packing foam) inside. This should have a rigid bottom.
