Who We Are
We are named Kulkea (cool-kee-ah), the Finnish word meaning “to go and travel.” Our goal is to free the adventurous spirit within all of us.

Kulkea was born when two New Englanders saw a need to solve the shortcomings of traditional outdoor gear bags. Their pioneering prototype quickly became the go-to for avid skiers.

After years of hauling all of my snowboarding gear in a reusable grocery tote bag, I finally had enough. This bag is great for all of my needs. It easily fits my boots, helmet, googles, gloves, ski pants, and jacket. The center pocket is huge. No more fear of items falling out of my bag.

I have a hard time not comparing it to the SP Pro bag, which has tons of pockets, so I guess I'll say this bag is good for what it is. Not a lot of bells and whistles, just a very basic storage bag.The top-load (vs front load) isn't a hassle like I thought it would be, so that's a plus. The internal pocket is kind of useless though, it's a tiny, flat, flap. No idea what I'll be able to fit in it. Chapstick? Wet wipe?I *am* struggling to understand how this is only 1 L less than the SP pro yet seems to be lacking so much space. Ultimately I'm keeping it because I really do like the color/pattern and it's the only color/pattern of Kulkea's I truly do like.

I can even fit my clothes and kids' clothes in this!! only thing I wish it had a chest strap to help with weight
