A good sensory tool to help your little ones. I like the print and that the material is easy to wash. The lap pad is a good size and not too heavy either.

Nice small size & weight. I ordered on a whim to keep here for my grandkids, even though the youngest is 7. The 2 younger grandkids are both on the spectrum so I thought it would make a nice addition to the things I keep around for them; I was going to put it in the back corner of the walk-in closet of my office where I had dressed out a small area with pillows, blankets, etc. as they like to go in there with their tablets when they are sensory-overloaded. However, the 7 year old found it when he spent the night and asked if he could take it home with him, which I assume meant he really liked it. I realize these are probably for younger, more toddler-aged kids so the weight was a little lighter than I had thought it would be, but he seemed to like it nonetheless.

Got this for my grandson as he suffers with a few problems. I put this on his lap at dinnertime and omg the difference it made. He actually sat through the whole meal. ate it all, and no fidgeting. Went to sit and watch tv in the evening and popped this on his lap again, he stayed happily snuggled up next to me to watch tv. Wish to heaven i had got one of these years ago for him. Absolute godsend. Worth every penny

A 2kg weighted calming blanket/lap pad. Bright and colourful and super soft to touch. Blue with a dinosaur print all over. With its double sided design, it can be used either way round. It looks and feels of excellent quality. A good size, approx 48cm x 53cm, ideal for popping in a child's lap or covering over their legs. It's a 100% cotton outer with weighed micro glass beads inside. The blanket is divided up into square sections, so the weight is always evenly distributed. No worry of the glass bead filling coming out, they are in a thick material pocket. The calming lap pad is designed to help reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality and aid relaxation. It creates the sensation of a comforting hug. It's been well made, no loose threads or any stitching out of place. Its worked really well with my autistic nephew, he's even asked for his blue blanket to comfort him, we are now looking at getting a larger one to cover over him a little better. Perfect for relaxing, soothe and calm.
