Bought this for my 6yr old Adhd & possibly Autistic son. Affection (hugs, cuddles, ect.) was the only thing to calm him when he has a meltdown and can’t regulate his emotions. So I decided to try this to see if it could help.To my surprise he absolutely loves it! He uses it not only to sleep but, to help him calm down during a meltdown. When he can’t regulate his emotions and he wants to calm down he lays in bed under this and it relaxes him. He is no longer reluctant to go to bed by himself. Where as before he always asked his 5yr old brother (who would agree) to share or ask to sleep with mom (who would usually refuse). He’s finally comfortable and happy sleeping alone his bed. We’ve almost eliminated his nightmares and his tendency to wake up in the middle of the night. He still has a problem with wetting the bed but the sheets are easy to wash and don’t stain. My son also had a chewing stim so I was concerned it would ruin the material. (Like it does to his shirts). But to my delight the material is strong and isn’t effected. It dries fairly quickly and maintains its shape and elasticity.Definitely considered this a necessity in my home.

I am so pleased with this sensory blanket! My 3yr old daughter absolutely loves it! I bought it to use as a top sheet and it perfectly fits her IKEA Minnen bed (Currently on the toddler setting.) My daughter is about 35.5†tall and 27lbs, and this sheet fits her and her bed very well, with plenty of room for her to grow and stretch out. It is lightweight which is perfect for our warm summers, and pairs well with a comforter on top of it.Just wanted to make a note that the end of the sheet is open, so if your child is taller, their feet may stick out from under the end, but it still does an excellent job of providing just the right amount of gentle compression. My daughter loves to be cuddled and “snug as a bug†in her bed, and this sheet has really helped her to feel safe and secure, while also helping her sleep better through the night!I’ve washed and dried it several times now and it’s held up well so far. It is very easy to stretch around the mattress and to take on and off. I highly recommend this sensory sheet, and I definitely plan to purchase more in the future now that I’ve seen how well it’s worked for my little one! It’s definitely all the comfort of a weighted blanket, but without the bulk and heat!

I bought this for my sons and they sleep so peacefully through the night. Great to take on trips where the kids are sleeping in different beds.

I bought this sheet for my 10 year old whose sheets and blankets usually fall off and are on the floor in the morning. This is his review of his new stretchy sheet:My new sheet was great. I was able to sleep all night. It may be cold. I fell asleep very fast. These are the reasons why it was great.

My husband really wrestled to get this sheet on, but it was worth every minute. Our 10 year old daughter has so much trouble sleeping, but she got to sleep right away with this sheet. She said it feels like a swaddle. Perfect temp for her as well.

UPDATE: After using this product for two nights, I can say this was a great purchase. My child loves it. He said it's soft and stretchy, but the pressure it gives him feels very relaxing. He has slept better, and I hope this continues. A bonus that I discovered is that he hardly messes up his covers at night so making the bed has been significantly easier for him, and it's less of a battle to get him to do it. Yay! I'm hoping it holds up to washes and being stretched over the mattress on a regular basis. If the prices were to stay the same, even if I had to buy a new one each year, it would be worth it. He looks forward to going to bed now, which is also another plus. I will update if there are any other changes.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased this for my child to see if it would help with calming/relaxing to go to sleep at night, and to get back to sleep in the middle of the night. I just washed the sheet (cold, gentle, line dry) and put on my child's mattress and wanted to post a couple of thoughts before I forgot them. It's very stretchy so it wasn't terribly difficult to get on the mattress. If your mattress was not a standard spring and easy to pick up and move around, I could see it being quite a challenge to wrestle it onto the mattress, especially if it's bigger than a twin size (like a thick, heavy foam or plush mattress, or queen, etc.)I'm planning on a new mattress at some point, and if my child loves this sheet, I will be sure to get an inner spring, not a memory foam style mattress. Changing the sheets regularly and having to move around a memory foam mattress would be exhausting, I presume.I was going to get a weighted blanket but after researching them, wanted to try this as an alternative, for several reasons. (A) - Good quality weighted blankets can be several hundred dollars, or more. There are cheaper versions, but I would question the quality. I thought this was a great, affordable option to try first. (B) - Children move around a lot while sleeping and I have serious concerns about it staying on the bed/child for very long, which would defeat the purpose of the investment in the weighted blanket. (C) - I researched making my own weighted blanket. I am not afraid of DIY options for certain things. I don't have the time to try to take on a project like this.I will update after a week or two of use and let you know how my child likes it.

I have a child with ASD and SPD. We have tried weighted blankets but my kid just gets too hot. Found these and let me tell you it has been life changing for my kid. I recommend these to everyone that has sleep issues, kid or adults. It can be a little bit of a struggle to get on the mattress depending on the thickness of the mattress. The struggle can be real but completely worth it.

Très bon concept, néanmoins le tissus est trop ample pour un matelas de 90. Ma fille de 5 ans y dort très bien (TSA léger avec tdah)

This is great, it’s soft, stretchy and lightweight so my LO didn’t get too hot. I was recommended this by a parent on a autism work shop I was on whilst waiting for a camhs assessment, I hadn’t heard of them before. My daughter has problems with falling to sleep and staying asleep - we tried a weighted blanket but it was heavy and she got too hot.. so once I was told about this I bought one to try straight away. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!Although we still have trouble with getting her to sleep, it has improved slightly. But she now mostly sleeps through the night, which is great!Fits the single mattress perfectly!I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price :).Oh and I wrapped it around my face to ensure it was breathable before I put it on the bed and I can confirm it is BREATHABLE!Definitely worth a try.
