Product worked very well with not having to drill holes in door or front of house! Sticks very well to door (where I have my ring doorbell mounted) works very well and very well made! Great solution for someone that doesn’t want to drill holes in door or front of houseLove that it comes with a guide and level to help w installation!

This mount is phenomenal. Where I live can get both very cold and very hot/humid during the year. This mount has withstood both seasons flawlessly and comes off with some goo-be-gone super easily if you want to replace it. 10/10!!

We were very excited to use this product. I cleaned the vinyl thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and wiped it dry, then used the provided guide to find the right position for the Ring doorbell. Adhered it, really easily, and secured the case with provided screws.That was a week ago. Woke up today to find our Ring doorbell on the ground because the sticky tape failed, and the casing (which the Ring doorbell was screwed into) had curved. So either the sticky tape failed and that caused the case to bend, or the case bent and caused the sticky tape to fail.Either way, not thrilled with the end result: a damaged Ring doorbell and the need to find another case.

The adhesive is great, but I didn’t really think thru that I would be attaching to Dutchlap siding. I got this because I didn’t want to ruin my new siding with drills… I also have new doors and didn’t want to stick them on the frame or glass either… so my adhesion has a gap between the siding laps, so when the weather changes it has “jumped off the wall†a couple of times now. I will say that the adhesion has held up for a few weeks now after sticking it back up again. It has been back and forth with winter and spring weather… I expect to see it jump off the wall again come summer though. I am still using my first sticky pad and there is a second in the box… Depending how summer goes, I may need to just stick it on my glass door because I don’t have many other options to keep it secure without drilling.

Easy to install, secure on front door, removing Ring cam from stand is easy for charging purposes, adhesive out of box was a bit altered due to heat. Had to fix positioning with hair dryer and tweezers.

Was fearful this wouldn’t last through the deep cold Michigan winter but it certainly did. I adhered it during the summer and it’s lasted almost two years now going through its second winter. Hopefully it continues to last but it was well worth the money.

KIMILAR No-Drill Doorbell Mount for Video Doorbell 2020 ReleaseThis was a perfect solution for me as i couldn't drill anywhere where i needed to place the camera.My only solution would have been to have a mount where it would stick as drilling wasn't an option.This so far is holding up really nicely, i did place the mount on the front door. First washed the area removing dust and dirt then dried before pushing the plate firmly into place making sure the adhesive pad made contact with the area and left over night.Next day i placed the camera, screwed it to the back plate and so far it hasn't fallen off. i tried to see if it would move with some force however, it rock solid against the door so im pretty happy with this it serves the job perfectly fine.Placement is really easy as you get a plate and spirit level so you know that when your mounting this to the surface the camera is perfectly straight and not on a angle.Overall does the job its intended for with my only criticism being the price at £16.99 however, its still in place around a month on.

I originally ordered the genuine Ring product but the delivery window was far too long. This backing plate is cheaper and appears to be a better design than the original. A large adhesive pad gives a substantial contact area compared to the originals two thin sponge strips.I cleaned the uPVC door thoroughly and decreased with alcohol, it appears to be very securely attached.The backing plate came with a very handy mounting template and spirit level which made fitting really easy.I have a slight gripe with Ring, who should really include a no drill backing plate with their doorbell.I would definitely recommend this product.

Found this quite flimsy to use - it needs to be more rigid as when I stuck it to the door one side of it bevelled inwards slightly and that prevented my from putting the doorbell within it and it took some effort to get the thing back off the door - threw the outside guide away and just stuck it to the door without it. I don't know how long this will last as it is only double sided tape at the end of the day and relatively easy to steal I would have thought. It's worth about £7 but I paid considerably more.
