All items arrived in good condition. I get that some people had an item arrive in less than stellar condition, but I dont see the big deal. The vast majority of pictures showing damage are trivial and dont impact the ability of the pot(s) or apparatus to actually cook. Also people - all of these items are made of aluminum. If you want something sturdy then you need to pay sturdy money.Anyway rant over. The entire package is put together very well, the burner and rig are all welded very nicely and machined very well. I bought this to do a low country boil for my MIL on her bday and we filled the pot completely, so much so that when we squeezed the shrimp in the additional water boil caused the lid to rise. I havent fried anything in it yet but I will be frying a large amount of chicken one day soon.My only "gripe" and I cant really call it that because its a safety feature, is the 15 minute time limit on the burner passthrough. I can understand the reasoning especially from a liability and insurance stance but I still dont understand what they expect you to be able to cook in 15 minutes. I guess its there to make sure that someone is present and paying attention to the cooking. Anyway, its very easy to bypass, I wont tell you how specifically but Google & YT are your friend.

I ordered this to when my family decided that we needed to give turkey frying a try for Thanksgiving this year. After it arrived we decided that we really needed to do a test fry with it to be sure we knew how to operate it when turkey day arrived. Not wanting to fork out a lot of money for a turkey, we decided on chicken. But, first things first. Out of the box it was really simple to put together. Really, all that needed to be done was attach the burner to the stand and then attach the gas line and put AAA batteries in the safety device. I know a lot of people have complained about the safety device, but really, I didn't find it to be a big deal. I just set the timer on my phone to be sure and check it every 10 minutes or so. We stayed right by the fryer anyway, so it was really not a big deal. So, on to the chicken. We injected the chicken with a creole butter marinade we purchased at the grocery store. Then, put the chicken on the hook and gently lowered it down into the hot oil. Following the 8 minutes per pound rule, the chicken was done in about 35 minutes. Everyone said this was the best chicken they had ever eaten. The skin was perfectly crispy and extremely tasty. The meat was tender and juicy. My brother was simply amazed and asked me to come back the next weekend and teach him how to use it. We have also fried chicken wings as well as french fries in it. Everyone agrees, it's pretty amazing and super easy to operate. The large pot has a fill line which makes it easy to not overfill. when we fry the turkey, next week, we'll put the turkey in and fill with water to be sure we're not using too much oil.

Worth every penny other than a dent in the top of the big pot.

My first and only fryer. Used it twice so far. Set-up was pretty easy. I only used the large pot which worked perfectly for a pretty big turkey, I think it was 18 lbs. The timer is somewhat annoying, but not a big deal, you shouldn't leave boiling oil unattended for too long anyway. Just remember that the regulator needs batteries for the timer or it will not function. I was scrambling to get AAAs out of a remote somewhere on Thanksgiving. The pots are aluminum and susceptible to denting if treated too rough the included lid came slightly bent. I don't know how they would stand up to constant use, I'm guessing not well. But realistically, if you are looking for a fryer to break out a few times a year and not break the bank, this kit is a good bet.

Received very quickly. This whole setup was exactly what we needed and wanted. It had all the pots we wanted for boils and turkey frying as well as the more shallow pot for being fish or chicken. Price was quite good and was what I expected to pay. Unpacking it, we liked the burner setup because it felt sturdy. The gas connection was very solid feeling and bolted to the bottom of the stand so we weren't afraid of it just falling out. However upon closer inspection, two of the pots had dents and holes in them. Since we liked the burner and stand setup we did consider keeping the whole thing and just finding different pots. We tested the ignitor and it wouldn't light. We had gas coming out and it would catch a flame for about 2 seconds before going out. I don't recommend this particular unit as it does seem to have the ignition issue in several reviews.

I got this as an option to make my brine for turkey legs without using my wife's larger pots. It works great. I was able to craft the brine, and soak the turkey legs super simply. The burner is easy to set up, and holds the pots comfortably. In the larger pot I had 18 turkey legs in brine and still was under the halfway point. This thing has some capacity.

Incredibly happy with the quality and overall product. This advertisement doesn't give it credit. I know nothing about this stuff. But the man I bought it for (for his birthday), simply is blown away. Thinks I spent way too much on him 😆 The product and the shipping was beyond my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy outdoor cooking. I got it to deep-fry a turkey, my boyfriend has been doing lobster 🦞! Fries 🍟, fish 🐟... This product needs a better write up! It's so worth the money! Beyond! Less than $200 @ my door, and I'm getting such love and appreciation! Trust a person who knows nothing about this stuff... It's apparently the best of what one can expect for it's purpose. Lol my man thinks I spent way too much! 😆 It's quality! It's amazing! Thank you 😊

Good value for your money, but the product had some dents in it!I could have returned it but needed it for a certain date so decided to “overlook” the dents because it didn’t effect the useage.

After reading the mixed review, I have to say I was doubting it. But wen I came everything was legit and everything worked well. The pot is thin yes, but it came undented and it did the job. So I don't see anything negative about it I also fried some empanadas and the heat held 12 empanadas at a time. The heat was golden and didn't take too much of the propane. So yes it worth the getting it. Especially for fried turkey is was a great experience.
