Very nice material on the top,and the bottom is waterproof. The pad went on my king size mattresses easily and have stayed on. The sheets fitted over them perfectly. There was no chemical smell . Love it!Highly recommended !

Bought this to protect our mattress while hubby was recovering from surgery. The pockets are deep enough to cover our very tall mattress, and the material is thick with a waterproof layer. The top is soft, and there was no plastic-y sound/texture while sleeping on it. Machine washable. Perfect.

This is an excellent mattress protector. I bought another brand that was terrible, and returned it to get this brand. This mattress protector is soft, noiseless, all white with a nice pattern, and most importantly it stays put and grips my mattress. Between a kid and pets, we always keep a liner on our bed. This has been washed several times and works well. We dry this on a lower or medium heat otherwise you could ruin it. Fits the mattress really well. Has a soft texture and it’s not crunchy or noisy.

So I bought this because I have a new puppy at home who likes to climb on my bed with his bigger sister. I have a very expensive mattress and did not want to have any accidents. When he peed on the bed it was so easy to take off the mattress cover throw it in the washer and wash it and it washed up so beautifully. However drying it is a little more difficult. The water droplets seem to cling to the plastic, rubbery side underside of the mattress pad. I had to air dry it for 48 hours after spinning it out of my dryer twice in order to make sure it was completely dry before putting it back on my bed. Besides that minor inconvenience of not having my dog be able to get back on my bed until I put it back on my bed it is excellent quality durable and very much leak proof and I will simply buy another one or two so that I always have protection for my memory foam mattress..

This works really well mine had a snag in it when it came but not worth taking the time to have it replaced so put it on the bed it works great extremely waterproof it's a good product I have yet to have it make any noise when I toss and turn at night

Thankfully haven’t found out if it’s waterproof or not but the cover fits my thick mattress perfectly.Nice soft and quiet.Very happy with this purchase
