I bought this notebook along with plastic sheet protectors to go inside it. Unfortunately the sheet protectors stick outside of the notebook when the notebook is closed. My other notebook this was to replace is just a 1/4" wider, which means the sheets don't stick out. Why can't companies figure these things out?

While the form of this binder is terrific, the function is disappointing. It is not made wide enough to accommodate plastic page protectors, and the plastic protruded and a half an inch when the binder is closed.

The photo doesn't show how thick the faux leather is. It is quite padded. It is very nice to the touch. I did not notice in photos that the three rings are opened/closed manually, that is, there are not the usual tabs at the end to open/close the rings. This is perfect for my needs. It means that though the binder is designed with 8.5x11 pages in mind, you can easily use it for pages that are a little larger. This is perfect for me. I plan on ordering more in this size and I am hoping there are other sizes too.
