Discovered that I need a special tool while rebuilding a Pfister old shower valve which was slowly leaking. Amazon was quick to delivery and this Kissler wrench, simple enough, did the job. The valve I was working on is 910-374. Lots of generic stems available. I did not use a new stem but bought an Everbilt stem kit for $4 from Home Depot (MPN: 1006 959 204)

If you work on older faucets this is a must have, it's much easier than using a screwdriver to remove broken or worn seats.

Get the angled Seat Wrench; it'll give you more leverage.

Used this to remove and replace all 3 seats in a Sayco shower fixture from 1981. Worked perfectly.
