Having the foil cutter attached is a plus for me. This works effortlessly. I have a fancy kit that was given to me years ago but barely used. This replaced an old plastic one I used for years that finally was broken. I would recommend.

There's a saying "third time's the charm". This is the third time I bought a wine bottle opener through Amazon and the first two broke after just a few uses. This one is excellent -- it's sturdy and it's easy to operate. Additional good features: it also includes a foil cutter and a beer bottle opener.

I was using my son’s wine opener, a different style, and it broke the glass lip of the wine bottle. I’ve had this style before. This one has enough of the body that protects your fingers from getting pinched in the cam gears. Beer bottle opener top. Well made! Get this opener, you’ll be happy.
