I am in love with this jug! I use this for saving spare change and dollar bills and it works great! I can see what's in there and enjoy adding to it. I love the little glass handle on the side near the spout - it gives it an antique sort of style. In fact, the whole thing was made with such attention to detail to make it look and feel this way - it's just perfect. The lid is solid with a rubber gasket under it to keep whatever liquid is inside the jug fresh and from spilling out. This is a great jug for daily, practical use, and goes well with any farmhouse aesthetic.

It's a 1 gallon glass jug. The lid fits securely. There were no odors. I did some price comparisons and the current price on this (25 bucks) is in the ballpark. I took two stars off because if a product is advertised as being made in the USA, then there should be a stamp indicating that on the bottom of the bottle. Every item I've ever bought that IS made in the USA has a stamp. That's something to be proud of and advertise ON your product! There's no physical address listed on the Kitchentoolz website. There's one phone number listed that led to a company called PSR Trading LLC located in an apartment complex in New Jersey. So...I have serious doubts this product was actually made in the USA. Prove me wrong.

This is an overall nice glass jug, which is a pretty basic item but nevertheless has a few interest points about it which I'd like to mention. First of all, it's lighter than I expected. I would say it's likely made of a thinner glass. That may be either a plus or minus, but for me I personally like that it's not adding a lot of additional weight. The cap is also quite good quality. The plastic is fairly thick and it feels durable. I kind of wish there could have been an extra cap included, but it's quite good so I think it will last a while. It's also claimed that the bottle is made in the USA, which is a great but there's no indication I could find on the bottle that it's made here. That being said, I believe them and I'm sure it's true but I just wanted to mention that I didn't see it specifically indicated. Overall, a nice product and I would recommend it.

I love this bottle. I've been wanting one just like this for quite a while now, so when I saw that this one was made in the USA, I had to get it. It's a perfect, heavy glass jug that will last indefinitely. I love that it is glass and therefore non-toxic, and I can store my filtered water in it and not worry about plastic leeching out and going into my body. I am a medical research scientist, and since I take the chemicals I ingest very seriously, I try to minimize plastics wherever I can. I only wish the world made it easier to do! Well, this jug is a good start.My only wish is to one day find a bottle with a wider mouth to allow for cleaning. With this one, I am going to have to shake bubbles and hot water inside it and hope it does the job. Still, it is better than being poisoned by plastics, isn't it?

Great for anyone who likes to brew at home. I was able to pasteurize a whole gallon of mead in this and it did great in the heat. Didn't crack or anything.

It definitely does the job and I find it easy to use. Cleaning is a little difficult as it has such a huge bottom and skinnier neck and spout. I like how big it is and the ultimate look that it provides while holding what I need it to. I do wish that the lid was not plastic, but it still does what it needs to. I also was a little underwhelmed with the thickness of the glass. It is much lighter than I anticipated for the price tag attached. Overall, it does what I need it too, but definitely could be better especially with the listing price.

I don't like my water very cold, and we have a drinking water service that delivers the jugs that go onto a cooler/dispenser, but I also don't like leaving an open top pitcher out. This was a great solution for me and I like the old timey look and feel of it.

Well, it is what it says. It is a 1 gallon jug with a lid. That's definitely more reusable than a disposable bottle. Made in the United States so that's also a big plus I have no complaints.
