I wasn't able to find a meat tenderizer hammer locally, so I was happy to find a reasonably priced one online. This hammer works well, and you have a spiked side and a flat side, depending on your needs. The handle is comfortable, and the whole hammer can be placed in the dishwasher. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Essential kitchen tool if you need to flatten out meat. Not heavy, but packs quite the punch. Ergonomic, easily cleaned. I only need the flat side, but that’s exactly why I bought this one. Plenty of mallets have only small and large serrated sides, but this one has a nice, flat side that gives a good whack without puncturing the meat.

Liked the design, color and size of the hammer tenderizer. Just the right weight. Has other uses like crunching nuts or crunching for hard candies for baking. Also, for pressing or patters for baked goids. Does the Jobe well. Easy cleaning. Very satisfied with this kitchen tool!
