This remote switch is designed to reduce camera shake to an absolute minimum. It is a perfect choice for taking long exposure photos. The remote has a two-stage release button, half-press to focus, fully press to trigger the shutter and take a photo. For long exposure, please press the release button fully and slide it into the locked position. The shutter will stay open as long as the shutter release button is locked. To unlock the shutter, just slide the release button back to its original position. This remote is powered by camera, you don't need to install a battery.

Works fine for Olympus OM-1 (Mark I and Mark II). Yes it is a little thin on the plastic, but it is a lot less expensive than the alternatives. The cable is built rugged enough, and it is nice to have the extension as an 'option' instead of the cable being so long all the time, as I use this remote directly behind the camera and only need a short cable.Overall it is built well enough to go the distance, if taken care of.

Got this to make a remote trigger for a 3D Printer, so I had to cut up the wire to solder it to a limit switch that I stuck in the printer. Worked out GREAT! I also tested the small remote it came with and that worked just fine. Good deal for the price for sure for a no frills hard wired trigger.

Si easy to use and oh, I love the extension cable because it gives me the option to take a photo close to the camera and further away from it without misfire. You can do regular shutter action and bulb lock. The plus side to this is that it works with my R6 and it fits my Viltro wireless remote as well so I can do Timelapse.

Works great on my Olympus (OM-D) EM-1 mk iii camera: both wired directly (the shutter release port is on the right-hand side of the camera, next to the memory card door,) and I am able to use the cord to connect my Yongnuo RF-603N transceivers, (purchased separately years ago, for my Nikon camera,) for wireless focusing and shutter release. Having no battery involved (powered from your device,) is a cool thing, too--one less thing to worry about.

Update: My bad, I have more than one camera and was trying the remote with the wrong one. Sorry for the other feedback. I feel so dumb LOL! Just notice about my mistake and immediately connected the remote control to my Canon Mark IV without any problems.Este control remoto (C-1) no es para la Canon EOS 5D Mark IV como especifica. Es la primera vez que compro un control remoto asà es que me deje llevar por la descripción, pero NO, no le sirvió a mi cámara.

Funciona perfecto sin pagar precio de fábrica. Tiene bloqueo como el de fábrica (Panasonic Lumix DC S5, 1ª versión).Como extra, trae una extensión. Probado y aprobado.Comentario al margen:Si necesitas un cable disparador --que en teorÃa deberÃa de poder usar el teléfono en su lugar, pero nunca he logrado hacerlo cuando lo necesito- esta es la solución. Si traes el tripié, seguro tienes en donde traer el cable.

Es un disparador sencillo, práctico y portátil, util para hacer fotos sin mover la cámara, pero ojo, tienes que revisar la longitud del cable y la compatibilidad de la camara para saber si te sirve para lo que lo necesitas...Ojo, no es intervalometro, ni mucho menos inalámbrico, y en general el material del que está compuesto es de calidad media, justo como seria de esperar en una marca genérica y compatible con varios dispositivos
