Very cool item- HOWEVER- not for children who are inpatient. Luckily my little one was able to wait it out, but I didn’t realize this is more of a lengthy project. Before you can even paint you have to mix water and a powder substance and let it sit for 12-18 hours, then you can start doing the marbling paint. Totally worth it but gotta have patience.

My 7 year old is obsessed with art!! She’s constantly watching videos online of different art techniques and she has been fascinated with this marbling technique for awhile now so when I saw a beginner child friendly kit on Amazon and at such a good price, I had to try it!! I am so glad I did!! My daughter spent hours and hours in our art room today making different designs and she’s ready for more!! If you have a kiddo that enjoys creative time, this will not disappoint! I do recommend watching a couple marbling art tutorials first because our first one was a muddy mess! But once she watched a couple tutorials she was making beautiful designs in no time!! The last couple she did are still drying so I will try to update later but she figured out a way to do shapes and make it look like a kaleidoscope! Super cool! I would buy this ten times over!

So much fun- make sure you prepare it 24 hours before you plan to use it! It works better than other suminigashi techniques I’ve tried!

Great little painting kit, my daughter really enjoyed it.IMPORTANT... deducted 1 star because I wish I would have known to make sure to prep this well in advance, the solution needs to sit for 18 HOURS before you cant paint. Kinda crazy and can be a challenge if your kiddo is ready to paint when you open it up. lesson learned haha

I recalled learning about marbling when I was past childhood, and I loved it. I could not think of what to get my nieces who seem to have everything. As I was browsing, I saw this kit and remembered how much I loved the art, not even being that artistic, so I immediately purchased one for my niece and she absolutely loved it...asked me to buy one for her friend..lol...I will consider it.

A fun, ground-level introduction to marbling aimed towards kids. The quality and paint amount isn't really for multiple projects, but for an introduction, it has everything you need in one kit. Beware that you can't use standard letter paper in the tray, it's too small. This makes a great gift and fun activity for those into arts and crafts, and is pretty easy to pick up.

A great starter kit for kids to have. They will have fun making different things and using it for creating fun gifts or cards all kind of paper items.

Very cool but patience is needed. 5 year old was very excited to do this craft…..only to find out that after mixing up the solution you have to wait at least 12 hours to actually do the marbling. She was extremely happy with the results afterwards……
