The speakers are larger than my old Cerwin Vegas. They look nice and produce a nice clear full range audio soundstage. They can pump out a lot of sound without distortion and remain clear and crisp. They actually sound much better the louder they are played. Possibly due to my amp. Highs and lows seem balanced and they are a nice set of speakers for the money. Would recommend.

These speakers are 5 STAR absolutely! Exceptional HIGHS, MIDS and LOWS. ZERO distortion at HIGH levels, not boomy, crystal clear dialogue. You WILL NOT find a better, or more highly rated speaker than the RF8000F-II for under $3500 and that’s a fact. Buy without hesitation or trepidation.

From good to great by placing the backs closer than a foot from the wall to enhance bass response (8 inches for me l with no sub) ,a short break in of a few days, and a more neutral (but still lively) response in line with testing results from Erin's Audio Corner with the following settings on WIIM amp -powerful enough amp with these speakers for my medium size living room at 55% volume. Also, a special feature less known about these is time intensity trading (see audioaholics review of this model). Basically, toe both in about 15 degrees intersection of sound in front or your primary listening position. I have no Center channel, and toe in sounds great with just music too imo.

Gorgeous to look at or listen to. Incredible clarity and crispness, best speakers I've ever heard for the nuances within classical music. For high volume rockin' out the dual 8" woofers need a little help, I have a large BIC "Formula" subwoofer to fill that gap. The tweeter with horn encasing is amazing at low to medium volume; a bit bright at high volumes, except for subdued sounds of very high frequencies.Alone they are best for movies, making voices of "B" Netflix movies discernable. Get a subwoofer for the lowest sounds/feeling.I have not biamped these yet, perhaps the best is yet to come😍Getting them on Black Friday sale for ~$837/pair was a bargain dreams are made of, well worth it at the normal Amazon $1K price or more.

The sound is crisp clear, the bass is heavy - in small rooms you may not need a Sub.

I recently purchased a pair of RP-8000f ll speakers during Amazon Prime day for $524 each, what a deal. They are replacing my 1986 Klipsch KG-4s, which have a similar driver design, and suprisingly similar sound. The RPs are more direct sounding, less needy of corner attenuation than the KGs, but both have that beautiful full Klipsch sound that I love. Paul Klipsch created a family of speakers which provide all of us with the opportunity to enjoy music, tv, and movie sound like very few others can, the sound quality is truly wonderful, and isn't that what it's about? Highly recommended, and Amazon was good about the whole process.

I've waited a long time for the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-8000F II 2.0 speakers to go on sale. When they finally did, I purchased them to replace a pair Polks floor speakers of about the same style and size. Well... I'll tell you, they sound just fine but the sound quality they produced was not as impressive as other Klipsches I've owned. For one thing, I thought their two rather large drivers (8 inches in size), times two, of course, would be enough to fill out my living room, but I was wrong. I've done all kinds of adjustments and tuning to both speakers, but the sound that comes out is just okay. Don't take me wrong, it's pretty good quality--both the mids and highs are very clear and accurate--but I feel like they lack the "oomph" when it comes to loudness. It just doesn't seem to fill out an entire (midsize) room. I've paired up these speakers with an Onkyo TX-NR6100 AVR, which in itself is a decent receiver (albeit some minor issues), but overall, it does provide enough juice for both speakers. However, I'm not getting the power of sound I thought I was going to get out of them. I'm just not. And it's not a matter of turning up the volume. According to the high sensitivity rating, they should sound louder even with low volume, but they don't. Now, Klipsch has some partnership with Onkyo, so when you pair up your Klipsch speakers with an Onkyo AVR unit (at least the most recent models) and make the proper adjustments on the settings, you're supposed to get the "best" possible sound out of the combo, but... I don't know. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong that's beyond my technical capability but I just thought that being Klipsch, reference, premiere, and the second generation (redesigned), these speaker would just blow my mind, but the reality is that they simply do not. Again, don't take me wrong, these are good quality speakers with very good decent sound and good quality finish (perhaps for a smaller, more "accoustically fridenly" room?), but for me, for the price point of these ones, there must be something a bit better out there--even if you spend a few extra bucks. I just can't endorse this particular model of Klipsch strongly enough.

Previously I owned a pair of RP280 speakers and the RP8000F II has far superior sound for my ears. The Bass is far better controlled especially for a bass reflex speaker. They present a very nice depth of sound and well balanced. The fit & finish for a Vinyl finish is very good. Currently used in a stereo setup but may transition to HT and purchase the matching Center speaker.
