Sounds great and does make the car feel better. It is easy to install but I had someone do it for me. You take your box out, put the intake in and you are good to go. You need to disconnect your battery and plug it back in afterward in order to let the computer know that you installed something new. If you dont your check engine light will go on and you will need to unplug your battery anyway.I can feel the little extra power going up the on ramp to the freeway and when I am trying to get around someone. Decent deal for another 10 hp.

This intake is awesome no complaints on the performance aspect..... It had to be modified to fit my subaru Baja turbo but worked out in the end would recommend this to other buyers

Included dyno chart shows increase of 15hp at the wheels..very noticeable improvement in acceleration, turbo spools quicker. Noise from the turbo spooling is actually noticeable now and for me thats a good thing. I like hearing whats actually going on under the hood. Installation was quick and directions were clear. Very well made kit. Highly recommend this product!

I installed this on my 09 Outback XT. Fits like a charm! I have nameless muffler deletes and straight pipe from the down pipe back. No tune, and it runs great! Some may insist on a tune, but I have to say that it runs fine without one. Super easy to install and makes the turbo/internal blowoff valve so much louder! It’s a much safer route to go than an external blow off valve. I have also seen an increase of about 2 MPG.Couldn’t be more happy!

I've had this intake for about 1.5 years now and it has been a solid product. It is relatively simple to clean, however it is frustrating that you have to remove the entire intake (not just the filter element) to clean. It is known to be one of the louder intakes for the LGT but that is the reason you buy it because the stock airbox flows fine as is. There was more assembly that I expected but half of the parts are heat shields to reduce air inlet temperatures so it is well worth the hassle. On a mustang dyno I gained 15whp and 20wtq with this intake AND a front mount intercooler. I think the majority of the gain was from increased timing that the FMIC allowed though. In all honesty, the reason I bought this was because the stock airbox didn't fit with the FMIC installed. But I have no regrets and its good to know the product has a lifetime warranty and is made by the most popular intake manufacturer.

The intake was very easy to install. It has been in my 05 Legacy GT for about a month now and I have NOT had any issues with it. Also the sound of my turbo spooling is amazing.

No noticable gain in power. Just a bit more noise when accelerating
